Any idea on what time they play till tonight?

3 more hour long levels after this one, then the (probably few) remaining come back in two days' time.

Too late for me then, I'll catch up tomorrow. Good luck to all the blondes in it and thanks for the updates.

DEVILFISH IS OUT

poor bloke has been clinging on right from the off, hes ducked and dived but never got going. His exit hand being AK v AJ with his opponent spiking a hook on the river to reel the fish in and ultimately OUT.

Dave's passing comments were, the structure is **** and 10 handed tables are a joke. I think he's just a bit upset.

He has a point the structure is, as per usual for the Vic, very fast for such a prestige event

Tony Bloom doubles up -

With , after raising a mid-position raiser all-in, and receiving a gracious call with .  The board brought no excitement other than a pair of Aces, making Tony's two pair look better.  So that's around 20k for Tony Bloom.

Elsewhere, El Blondie takes a pot off James Akenhead - on a three clubs board, Dave put the young aggressive player all in, asking during the ensuing dwell, "Which one is it, a pair of nines or a pair of tens?"  Whatever it was, it wasn't good enough to call, and James got a reward(?) in the form of seeing the in Dave's hand...

Skalie is OUT -

He can't say the words "Marc Goodwin" without "fish" following now...  After Marc raised 2,500, Skalie pushed all-in on the small blind for around 16,000 and without hesitation got called by Marc with  .  Skalie's  couldn't beat the two Aces which showed up on the board, and he steamed gently out of the card room.
