Are some of them pickled eggs?

Jen, I'll give you a fiver to eat a pickled egg

Not sure what kind of condiments lurk in those jars... I am getting a bit peckish though so I might go and see what I can scavenge.  Ben's already been on his dinner break.

But before I go snack hunting, it's Chip Count Moment:

Trevor Reardon     13,000
Nick Whiten          14,000
Steve Bovis           OUT
Richard Gryko        14,000
Howard Plant        12,000
Kevin Daly             OUT
Anders Berg          15,300
Pascal Perrault       24,600
Martin Cavanagh    6,000
Mark Teltscher      14,600
Pippa Flanders       15,775
Mad Turk              12,850
Angelo Besnainou   7,600
Alan Smurfit           9,000
Carlo Citrone         18,000

And I'd just managed to get a new clutch of photos, like this one of Steve Bovis - but the comp has geared up into Elimination Mode and my pic subjects are dropping thick and fast.  Going to resize faster than I've ever resized before...

Pippa Flanders (early bully of tikay) is wearing a delightful purply silk dress which, not terribly fashion conscious though I may be, I think is really nice.  She's been steadily increasing her stack right from the start, and looks as relaxed as can be.

Hi Jen and Ben, any chance of a chip estimate for my old mate Colin Kennedy.

He's a scholarly looking gentleman with white hair and a short white beard.

He's also a bit of a legend and please pass on my best wishes if you manage to locate him.

It's battle of the headphones between early chip leader Pascal Perrault and Norseman Anders Berg.. and I think Anders wins.  His look like the sort you see people power walking with.

Little break there for me to eat a pickled egg sandwich (you're just going to have to believe me dana as I have no evidence but will be collecting that fiver).

We are sat right next to the restaurant in the upstairs part of the Vic, with a live jazz band doing their thing nonstop.  It's quite relaxing, actually.  I wish I could record and attach little mp3s of it so you could get the multisensory Vic experience.

That crazy beard guy who was at the Bodrum Cafe just sent me an MP3 of him playing a guitar banjo in the style of Django Reinhardt. It's quite good. I've downloaded it to your computer for your listening pleasure

Oh, stop the press.  Americans are here.  Tipped off by hot reporting talent Eliza Burnett, we spotted Mike Matusow, Kristy Gazes and Clonie Gowan hanging around the Vic, presumably soaking up some local colour before going to the Poker Open tomorrow.  Everyone and his Full Tilt sponsored uncle seems to be in that... (Go on Mr. Cool!!)

With just a couple of tables remaining downstairs, here's the last of the Alternate card area snaps - of a smiling Burnley who literally seconds earlier was sticking his tongue out in a very cheeky way.  Curse my slow flash!
