Steve Evans will only take the gig if Steve Evans feels it's right for Steve Evans.

Guess we can rule him out of the Swindon job then. Also have it on good authoritah that Poyet won't be replacing Cooper either.

This made me chuckle or at least tither

We can't even profit from bumper burger and chips sales cos Ken Bates outsourced it all.

There's no silver lining to this.

9 goals this season in the league

12-1 in a three place e/w market

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-goalscorer

will play every game if fit, for a team that has bucketloads of pace, is great on the counter and has to keep coming because clean sheets are an impossibility. on pens if mahrez isn't on the pitch.

Great minds.  Nearly asked you about him at the weekend until I saw the each way terms.  I think the each way terms are a problem.  You get 12/1 a fifth first 3 or 10/1 quarter first 4.  If you got both 12/1 and quarter first 4, I think it would be an obvious bet.  As it is I think 10/1 first 4 is probably a better bet (or just do the 12/1 win only?).

As an aside I just noticed Raheem Sterling is 100/1 quarter 3 places with Coral.  I might just have killed it, but this seems bigger than I expected after the weekend (I was expecting 50/1ish with Aguero out).  For comparison, I think he was about 125 maybe 150 before he got 4 at the weekend.

we can stick with this right? not suggesting a bigger position?

Sterling   80/1   20   £10 e/w 1/4 1,2,3,4

nice to have a written off bet spark into life....

I have added to mine, but is fine if you'd rather just stick to the old one.  Where do you think we should go on Vardy?

i think if i did it (haven't yet) i would want the fourth place

alexis, aguero will score loads if fit for an extended period, costa could have a run etc any of lukaku, pelle could be in contention

but with 9 already and 4 places then i'd give vardy a shot at the place

i was interested that utd played Martial left side of a attacking three behind rooney at everton, to counter coleman. i had it in my mind that martial would only play up top with rooney in behind. that was the basis on which i think we backed martial anyway. maybe everton was a one off, but if he was playing up top every week he has to be in the frame too

Dont give up on the Bojan bet just yet. Wink

I like the Vardy bet for reasons you gave. Just a question on his temperament for me though.

Sorry, it wasnt a dig. I do think his commitment and play is very good and do rate him as a player, but he can be hot headed at times (on and off the pitch), so was just bringing in the factor of any games he may miss due to suspension. I think the bet should be still placed though.

ok. he's been booked 15 times in 106 games for leicester, never sent off and suspended once in the championship under totting up yellows two years ago and not since. never considered him hot headed. unless drunk playing poker in a casino in the off-season

my concern wouldn't be discipline it would be fitness (same as any long term bet) and whether we are underestimating the competition. big hitters like costa etc returning to form
