Hughes is safer than the 8/15 ish odds being banded about yeah? (for next manager to go)

I've had a dabble on Marco Silva this morning but fear Southampton pulling the trigger soon.

Hughes isn't going anywhere.  I said at the start of the season Stoke are not a sacking club/hughes was a terrible fav in the sack race and i would be amazed if he goes anywhere mid season.

Thank you, pretty much what I thought. Feels like it would take a torrid run of results for Hughes to get the chop.

Couple more defeats for Watford could make things interesting.....

Stoke got a much easier schedule the next 2 months.  There is no reason to fire the gaffer really.  Stoke are exactly where they should be expected goals wise in the league.  The owners are long term winning punters and get variance/scheduling etc and the short term swings.  They have built their empire on not acting like mug punters and over reacting.  Hence why they don't panic sack managers.  I would be amazed if he goes.  I think they are pretty much safe anyway as there are three much worse teams than Stoke in the league.

Really struggling to understand how Everton are a much bigger price away at WBA than Stoke are away at Huddersfield.  Everton must be a bet at close to 3/1 today surely?

Jose might be a runner at this rate if Burnley gag up 5-0 tonight!

Funny old game.

Poshies 80+ league goals is well and truly live again. Marriott golden boot @ 40-1 done deal barring injuries/a sale for those that played.

Rams coach Sean McVay told the media he will probably rest his starters for the season finale against the 49ers. Getting guys healthy is more important than a 3 or a 4 seed, McVay said.

McVay also likely thinking that a loss is the preferable option here. In life as the four seed, after the Wildcard Round they'd get to go to Foles-led Philadelphia as opposed to Minnesota where they already lost.

49ers are 6-0 under the new QB Jimmy G who looks a franchise altering talent, and with a very high draft pick now out of reach they'll be going hard for a divisional win to end the season

not sure the Rams back ups should be favourites...

the line has moved from +4 to +2.5 49ers, can still get 13/8 on the money line

Am I correct in thinking that fred has a small dabble on Swansea to finish bottom? Or have I made that up/was last season?

Yes, think we are on that for this season.

Yes, just checked - we have £20 @ 10/1 for Swansea to finish bottom.

The bet was recommended by WinShoes, who is a smashing lad from Next Door.

My dad is a massive Swans fan, it's pretty much all he talks to me about these days and I work with Tom Carroll's brother, they would both agree that this bet could not be in better shape. First year in 5 i didn't back us to go down, I had a lot of faith in Clement.

Best odds are with Shy so not for Fred, but Shelvey at 12/1 for first player carded looks good to me.

Its his first game back tonight after his suspension, so could be a little rusty and off the pace. He isn't shy for putting his foot in but his tackling can be reckless , and he could well be chasing shadows a lot tonight. He's the type of player who likes to stamp his mark on a game so expect him to throw his weight around early doors.
