I'm a Rush Tower soldier until the 30th/1st, and moving to Vdara for the last 10 nights.
Wynn has an app you can play for free nights, just pinging slots etc. Not worked out if it's worth buying chips to see if you can spin up a few free nights. There are no restrictions on weekends, just more expensive for rooms, and you cna stack 4 nights if you've enough 'jewels'
If I have a good Chelts, I might chuck £100 at it and see how I get on.
Might duck this. I dare say I'll blow more than £100 and chase.
Palazzo didn't look too bad, then I realised that with the resort fee, the price wasn't much different. $51 resort fee once the tax is added. Then the cheaper rate (£180 total incl resort fee cheap?) is only available at a couple of sites I don't recognise.
There is a huge difference in costs this year as virgin points have less value, so instead of tax only in premium economy, I am paying around double that amount for economy delight, and could well pay more for a worse room.
We need a sterling recovery pretty damn quickly.
Halfway to 4 free nights on that Wynn app, so looks like I'll be staying there, and paying for the other 5 @ £800.
Ha, brilliant.
how long do you have to play and/or how much did you have to deposit? Seems like you can grind free nights without using dollars. Could get my kids to work, sure getting them addicted to slots can't do them any harm...
I bought one package for a fiver, then it offered me 600m chips for 99.99. Bought that, and gained about 3.5k in gems yesterday while I was at the desk. Guessing it could go wrong, but think you can just leave it on a lower level spin every day and do the same.
I've done in a day what a few of the others on VMB have done in months
There's a long thread on VMB with strategies etc.

Not played much today, been busy.

Got just over 6k gems before busting, so need 350 more to get the 4th night.
Will bust my piggy for a fiver, and then grind the scratchcard challenges for the rest of the week, and see how that goes.
Should be able to get to 6.4k easily enough, and then I'm done.

Had to spend another 15 quid, but got the 4th night.
I've double booked the first week, so will see what the schedules are like and cancel the one I don't want.
21st-28th Aria/GN
28th-2nd Wynn
2nd-10th Vdara
Going to play a few more tourneys this year, now that my tolerance for alcohol is as low as the tolerance my legs have for walking.

[Hi Marky,
Is it a room you book or a stay for 1 person?
can you stay in other places than the Wynn with these Gems?
Cheers

The rooms through the Wynn Slots app are just a deluxe room at the Wynn, and I think you have to pay a nightly surcharge to switch to a twin.
The Wynn app is just for them, and myVegas is for MGM properties.

Seniors PLO8?
I'm torn between saying something positive like how tikay will be loving that and saying something flippant like how restricting the event to seniors will eliminate 10% of the field.
Life is tough
