I also LOVE Health and Fitness. It transformed my life to levels I never knew. It gave me a focus, a drive and a career.
You don't have to aim to look perfect, just being better, healthier and ageing with grace and dignity it perfectly acceptable. Gaining the confidence from your own appearance. The conviction from your own thinking and energy levels you never knew were possible.
So if anyone does what a chat/skype I would be happy to help when I can.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying about misinformation and generally love your enthusiasm and like that you want to see people happy through nutrition and lifestyle. I hope you haven't been rubbed up the wrong way either.
Where I am falling short is providing evidence for my claims but know it is a tricky spot to get into for someone that is not a pro at it so i keep on referring to names of those that i trust.
The above link is to a great documentary which list the reasons why i follow the diet I do and how it contradicts most others out there. It is an informative and a really entertaining watch, you don't have to take anything as gospel in it either, but it will make you probably understand why I am fervently for my own diet and want those around me on it too so they can stop struggling as uncontrollably as they do.
The fact that you can reverse heart disease/rheumatoid arthritis and other chronic illnesses on it like type two diabetes and hypertension is why i believe it is the diet to follow.
I have logged your arguments that are for dairy, meat and other foods that I have stated to be unhealthy, but I disagree with you. So think we will be at it all day if we don't just lay our arms down and have a big hug.
I jest of course. Love the passion though, and I share it. It was an absolute nightmare being as big as I was and am passionately for this diet because not many people drop the weight I did and maintain it. Time will tell if I maintain it for longer but I know I will, so in five years time I will give you a cheeky wink, ha.

Agree to disagree.
Factually speaking, people must understand you can reverse those diseases/illnesses you mentioned by non vegan diets too.
All I am trying to do is make everyone aware that although the way you have gone has worked for you, it is not the right or only way to go.

I'm going to the gym before work but have limited time. I've been swimming which I enjoy but want to do some weights, I'm going alone as my gym buddy can't make it in the AM.
Id like to do weights & swim so should I do the following
Chest - swim
Back - swim
Bi's & tri's - swim
Legs - swim
Or is this totally stupid?

Nothing wrong with that. Personally if your goal is weightloss then I wouldn't bother with a standalone arm day. If you were looking to eat a caloric excess and put weight on in order to build muscle and thought your arms were a weak point then it would be perfectly fine. As it stands you might want to couple chest and triceps together, and back and biceps together. With your spare day now you can throw in shoulders and abs. Trust me when I say you can get an intense workout from these two muscle groups. You can strip all these workouts down to 1 big lift and 2 supersets so you're in and out in around 30-45 minutes. Happy to help you put a routine together if you want.

Thank you mate. I will see how I get on. I chop & change too much to have you invest too much time in a routine. The one you did previously was great but changes at home meant it tailed off.
Love swimming though so will see how we do with the new scheme. Arms will be dropped & can tweak as I go
Thanks again

You've identified the problems here, just got to work to fix them.
Why do you break after 6 weeks? Diet too strict? Not allowing for favourite foods? Do you balls it up a little bit or do you binge like a pregnant woman?
Why is working away a problem? How can you fix that problem, honestly?

Lee have a read about macros and flexible dieting. It will really help you. Otherwise you are trapped in the, the body will always do so,etching for 6 weeks response and then plateau cycle.

Good steady process there, without taking a backwards step which is nice to see. Well done.

I have been lazy. I need to keep myself nimble with stretching, warming up and warming down so i don't pull muscles so easily meaning i can't train 5 times a week. Instead I have been doing the equivalent of one because i have been going too hard in that on session then I have had to rest. The one hard session is normally 90 mins of Sunday league football that always seems to keep niggly injuries around. I probably shouldn't rest as much as i am though and run a little on the slight injuries to see if i build up a resistance and make it so i injure less easily. If that fails, I will just have to rest completely to heal, then build up slowly.
So the goal is to try and push myself to do the most I can do in a day that would leave me having enough to try again the next day without being too stiff. Hopefully I see results quickly with that, I am sick of making the weight I have and not being able to fling myself around! I want to let loose, but my legs are saying no!
