I agree with you, despite the slight setback in preparation, she never looked in danger last year and is so far clear of the rest.

Having said that, isn't the dirty each way on Une Artiste a better bet?

You could almost recommend doing both?

Got it, thank you very much. Will sort it on Wednesday.

I really ought to Update all the Cheltenham stuff tonight, the non-runners & stuff, & how some of them affect the Spready, & how we account for them, (think I will ask Mere to adjudicate), but I'm desperately tired & am fighting the urge to get to bed & leave it until the morning.

One day of catching up on this thread takes some sorting out, & it would be the eve of Cheltenham, when we have so much happening.

Thing is, does she, & the connections, have C & D previous?

Thanks Doobs.

I'm going to put it up as a thread bet Tony, maybe £90 at 4/6 Quevega with Hills in the Mares hurdle. The BOG prob makes it better than the 1.71 on BF.

1.72 on the machine.

 I'd happily lay at 4/6.

I'm sure to bet three horses ew.

(could be 6 consecutive years of laying her).

double this with jezki at hills 1/4 odds first 5.
normally the e/w alert would be up,but tomoz a great time to do it.
1st 5 in what is essentially a ten horse race (and 1/4 odds to boot). Una Artise solid e/w in a race where they bet 25/1 bar 4.
just empty the clip and embrace the variance.

haha, I'm assuming you pay 5% comm on BF, the bit you are giving away at 4/6 fixed odds BOG instead of taking the 1.71 it was is small enough to have the insurance that you will get 8/11 if it drifts imo.

If you haggle with Neil he might lay you 7/10 comm free ;o)

Peejay - obv we love all and any ew bets in the Supreme and I've written the name Jezki on some bits of paper today.

Should I be worried about the long lay-off and the form of the stable and does the owner make the price shorter than it ought to be?

No way I'm gonna haggle with Neil.

I tried to sell him some of my poker action in a Tourney once, & he had me convinced 0.45 was a fair price. Bullshit, I'm worth 0.6 of anyone's money.

Jezki just an example really Neil, i have a cursory look at form but just bet numbers off the machine. I'm quite likely to bet whatever is solid in the win/place market, tho as a general rule i dont like betting horses coming from a long lay off. Horses obv ridden to the line at Chelters where normally would be eased off if the winning chance is gone on a windy wednesday at Carlisle for example.
