ps. If you want us to follow any particular player, then please post on this thread as soon as you can.

Hi Snoops and Homer.....Can you keep track of my favorite Americans playing today....Michael Martin (aka martine23) at Table 10, Seat 8 and also Chris Lee (aka genius 28) who is at table 27...not sure of the seat number.

Thanks so much.

Funnily enough, we bumped into Michael last night at the party, so we'll look out for him.

The thing that really strikes me as you enter the tournament area is that this really doesn't feel like an EPT at all. Now obviously, the location makes that the case, but there is little or no mention of the EPT on the Pokerstars-plastered walls. There's a certain lack of the EPT regulars too and a high amount of faceless (no insult intended) online qualifiers which gives this more of a WSOP feel than any other tournaments.

They're not using EPT chips either which just adds to this, plus the tournament structure is also distinctly different.

Chips:

Green -- 25
Black -- 100
Pink -- 500
Yellow -- 1000
Blue -- 5000

Media Mogul Mad Harper has been working like a hamster on a wheel to produce this player list, and here it is, in all it's seat providing glory:

Snoops --

This list only shows 7 people per table.  What gives?

Negotiating through the sixty or so tables, I've finally spotted Julian Thew.

He had just raised a limper from the cut-off to 400, the small blind called whilst the big blind and limper passed.

The big blind leads out 400, Julian calls.

The big blind now fires out 625 to which Julian again calls.

Now the big blind checks and Julian bets 800, he's called but his is the winner.

Good luck to Dan Carter!! Smiley I have a feeling he wants to spend his time in the Bahamas on the beach with his lovely girlfriend... But, he'd better win this first, or there will be trouble!! Wink

Despite there being so many participants, the table draw still throws up a few good 'uns.

Prague winner Arnaud Mattern and Humberto Brenes.

Luca Pagano and Soren Kongsgaard.

Chris Lee is not on today's list, perhaps he is playing tomorrow?

Homer --

He's definitely playing today as I spoke with him right before the event started.  Your list only shows seats 1-7....perhaps he's in seat 8, 9 or 10.

A good start yesterday as I won the live super-satellite for $8000 to pad my account for the trip. Starting the Main Event today at Table 10 Seat 4 and there's sure to be plenty of action because I have Dario Minieri on my right and Tuam Lam on my left.

Just to prove that Zspaceman's not a Billy Liar, here he is pictured with Messieurs Minieri and Lam.

"Is that Dario Minieri?" asks a passer by.

"Yep, sans school satchel," I replied.

silence

"Where's his scarf?" he asks

"We're in the Bahamas!" I said.

"Yes, well," he replies sternly. "He had his scarf on in Vegas!"

Christ, some people don't make it hard to be humorous.

Any updates on Jonathan Screeney would be very much appreciated.

Right, I hope this is your man. If it is, he's on 18k. Actually, even if it isn't, he's still on 18k, whoever he is.

I'm just about to dip back into the sea of poker players, but while I'm gone, can anybody help me out and tell me who last year's runner-upper Isaak Haxton looks like. I'm sure it's a musician of some kind, but I can't figure it out. Big prize for the best lookalike comparison.
