Simple question really, you made it sound as if you knew a gamble was happening and we can all just lay off for a free bet.

A gamble may or may not take place, but I am pretty sure at some point, if you take 12s you will get a chance to lay it off, if that's your bag.

I may not post here much any more, but if you read the past 200 odd pages, I do try my best to help out.

The onus is probably on you to do some reading rather than me justify myself to you. Grin

It was just a standard thing that many do here regularly when they see an opening price that seems patently wrong.

In this case, almost a double header - the horse has a squeak & is value @ 12/1, & it will, almost certainly, shorten considerably.

When Adzy, Chompy, horsey, Simon & a few others stick these horse racing things up the night before, I'd say they shorten before the race 90% of the time.

Here's an example of a system bet from Flatstats. If you'd been brave enough to back Danny's rides blind today you'd have found a 66-1 winner in Maybelater!
would also have found a 20-1 winner back in Feb.  (I didn't back either by the way  Sad)

In a similar vein I have backed Al's Memory and Tanawar 7.45 Ling for small stakes. Brother Tiger won earlier by the skin of it's teeth.

I only had £50 straight win on the first winner at Wolves tonight  Wink. Some big priced winners about today.

The turf flat is back!

(well back for a couple of days)

I did my usual lol samplesize stats on the big mile races at Donny tomorrow.

15/15 winners having their first start of the year

winners of their last race place 30% of the time and win 13%

up in class win 10% and place 24%

putting all that together I've gone for

3.10 Donny Rover and Mujazif

3.45 Gabrial and Lincoln

EW singles and cross doubles

If anyone has anything for Doncaster on Sunday, I'd be delighted to hear.

If you can get double figures on Rock a Doodle Do in the last could be worth an interest.

Finally won a race over sticks recently and so fit. WIth Simon Walker on board, that is worth a few lengths as well as a fitness edge.
