Hopefully it made up for a few rubbish ones of late!
Id actually make a note of the horses that finished behind, the Wood Ditton has always been a race in the past that carries its form well when won by a promising 3 year old. I will personally make a note in my tracker of the first 5 home, and 2nd-5th will be well worth backing in maidens next time out unless they are too short or up against a big stable hot pot.
The horse that finished 4th in the Wood Ditton, the form has been well franked since, is running in the 1815pm at Nottingham tonight, in quite a hot little maiden. Barreesh, with Frankie on board is around the 7/2 mark. Could be a good thing if none of the newcomers are above average and if it wins will continue to point out the first 6 in that race in future races.
4pts win recommended. Good Luck

Did my lol sample stats for the Victoria Cup:
Colts 5yos and mid weights (8.8 - 9.3) do well. Apprentices horses up in class do badly.
So that gives:
Baraweez
Big Baz
Lincoln
Russian Realm

3 running today I am intersted in, all at York on what really is a lovely and testing Card.
Muthmir York 315pm, Generally 5/1, won some hot handicaps last year, and looked a group horse sprinter in the making. Likes fast ground and only concern is it could be a little faster although two good days and the ground is now good, good to firm in places i hear. Won first time out last year and expected to run a huge race. 4pts win
Mount Tahan 420pm York, 10/1 about,Won first time out, in a smart maiden, and now sent handicapping by a shrewd Kevin Ryan Drawn well in stall one and a distance winner who appears to like making all on this kind of ground. At this price its a cracking little each way bet in a nice handicap to start with. Could be a handicapper to follow this season. 2pts e/w
Osaruveetil, York 520pm, 9/2 General, One run, one win last year, and one of my ten to follow this year the minute it won from off the pace in a maiden at Kempton last year first time out over 1Mile 3f. Mile and a half today will pose no problem and might stay even further. Hot little handicap this, and Ryan Moore up on top. Potential to be a group horse or better is the word. 5pts win
Also will be doing some each way doubles and a treble to small stakes.
Good luck all.

Muthmir looked pretty special when it won that race last year, even after being stopped.
Trixie on, gl!

3 poorly chosen nags yesterday at York, but having another go today. 2 from the tracker and one on the mention list from before.
315 John F Kennedy 5/1 has to win this if to live up to the derby hype surrounding this all winter. Given another chance on drier ground and with a run behind its belt.
345 Loving Spirit 12/1 6f Handicapper been knocking at the door in hot handicaps. trip and Ground to suit and today could be his day
450 Seastrom 5/1 Debut was a little rusty and betting reflected, strong yard and fancy this today
Couple of 3pt singles and some permed doubles and a cheeky each way treble for me.
Good Luck

Who gave you 5/1 John F Kennedy?

Went 5/1 with Laddies earlier, 4/1 9/2 then 5/1 very briefly...unless it was an enhanced pushed out price.
