Oh man - I managed to avoid spoilers in a Likely Lads style and just watched it. Conor nailed it in the post fight interview "You can't overcome inactivity!" - Poirier is really tough, was a great bet at those odds!

Had the gameplan, too. I thought Conor won the first round, but the kicks took their toll, and quickly.
Slowed someone down a bit, especially someone who relies on their movement, and it gets a lot more manageable.
Happy day, chaps

yes I had Conor the first too but the leg kicks thing is so interesting. Over the past 2, 3, 4 years it has become such a big strategy in the UFC, that is used a lot. But Conor hasn't really fought in the 'leg kick era' or fought a leg kicker - So surprising he never even tried to counter or check them. I thought Dustin would need to come through the first two rounds or maybe 2.5 rounds before he could take over. Turned out it was only one round.
I guess he fights Diaz now or does boxing...

He did exactly the same to Nate in their rematch, so was surprising he didn't check them knowing the damage they do.
I don't think he's going anywhere for a few years.
He'll want his two trilogy fights, and he's prob gonna do another boxing match if he can jack it up.

looks like Honeysuckle is definitely going to the Champion hurdle now, which is fantastic, but...
Mark Wright has started for Crawley today.
They are down 2-0 and I have no real idea how good he is but
Edit
3-0.

I'd put her in a slip on Paddy to have £50EW for the CH as a bet to nothing yesterday.
Got a phonecall from one of my brokers and forgot to do it
Upside is I was only offered £33, so only missed out on 2/3 of the value.

Wasn't he with Spurs kids or something once upon a time?
Meaningless, but I presume he has/had something about him, and if he's in good shape how much of a step up from non-league is L2?

Dunno, I saw him come on the other day and he looked chunky enough. Guess we'll have to wait and see if he plays again, but I guess this isn't ideal for him.
45'
Substitution
Substitution, Crawley Town. Tom Dallison-Lisbon replaces Mark Wright.
Now 1-3
Good luck to him, following his dream (well maybe after his missus). I'd be pretty pleased for him if he makes it, but I did assume that when he came on the other day that would be the end of it, and didn't expect to see him start so soon.

Don't think he's much younger than me, so doubt he'll be playing for long, whatever happens
