Can't blame him for that, having just gone 5 rounds with one leg, why wouldn't he want another go at him

Full page in the Racing Post highlighting Haye's patchy record against mediocre opponents over the last 4+ years and seriously injured shoulder(surgeon advised him never to fight again post-op) suggesting that he might well not be capable of producing anything like his previous level. If he does the fight is a formality but if it goes past 4/5 rounds fitness could be the issue. The columnist is tipping Bellew @9/2 and under 5.5 rounds @8/11
With the fitness/durability issues in mind will DH try and blast him out in the first couple of rounds?
Fair enough. Haye is the only one who'll not fight again.

More looking forward to Thurman/Garcia than the hyped up Haye/Bellew fight. Any thoughts out there? Thurman on points a sensible bet?
Nice shout, clearly Thurman is getting on his bike since getting buzzed. Is the fight worth catching up on? Cus the yankee maedia have slated it.

I don't think so, there was some booing from parts of the crowd which was probably a bit ott but it wasn't a great spectacle all the same. Was a bit disappointed with Garcia, thought he would have chased Thurman a bit more than he did.

The Garcia's have openly said their in it for the money and that mentality is creeping into Danny's performances. I'll leave it on my Sky box for a little if only for the early Thurman rounds.

Quite shocked to see David Brophy (looked like a tree against Groves) has managed to knock out a world rated undefeated New Zealander (23-0) for the Commonwealth title overseas.
Might mean we get a couple of reasonable Scottish shows.

And now Scottish heavyweight Marc McFarlane is on the GGG undercard. Macklins lot are getting about.

MGM may of changed name but the curse remains. McFarlane lost a MD over 4 rounds to an American who had to go to Mexico to pick the wins on his 3-2-2 record. Andy Lee is up now on an official undercard stream

Jacobs executed his game plan brilliantly. I kept expecting him to mess up but he really stuck with it.

Excellent performance from Jacobs, he was 5/1 in running after 9 rounds when I had him a few ahead, thought it was a crazy price

When a fight with GGG v Canelo makes fortunes it goes some way to explaining it sadly. Jacobs was superb and GGG really struggled with his slickness. There were signs there against Brook that GGG was slowing down and it was apparent last night.
