1  Poker Forums / Live poker / Re: So when is live poker starting again ???? on: May 16, 2021, 05:57:07 PM
Is anyone planning on venturing to a Grosvenor on Monday or at some point next week?

Yeah, next Friday all being well. I'm dropping my mate's mrs and her friend off at a pub somewhere, then going to the casino with him for a punt.

Hopefully not knock too much in before they meet us at the casino hammered Cheesy

Ha! Sounds like a good plan to me!

I'm hoping to play the tournament in Luton on the Sunday depending on how work goes Saturday night

Looks like you have to book online using the app to play the live tourneys - I'd be booking in but I can't remember my membership number...

Rather annoyingly tournies you have to book in person, but you can use the app to join waiting lists for cash games.

Apparently you can register for a tourny any day to avoid the disappointment of turning up & it already being full.

Ok - go it - thanks. I didn't see that - so do you know if you have to register and pay? I can see it being a load of people registering and not turning up otherwise....

Might as well start punting now. Starbies & Burgers next time we're there?

I'll take the over on your line, as I'd guess it's prob much sharper than mine Cheesy

BOOKED

I'm not wholly confident on 4,000, but I'm very confident it won't make 6,000.

We need Argue or Chomps to make some proper odds.

Make it 4001 - I'm thinking about it  Smiley

Do you ever shut up?

I've missed you Smiley xx

So, what's been happening  with you in the last 8 years?

Too much work, not enough life! Live in a village now and have an allotment - how life is changing!!!
And I just fancy a trip to Vegas so I thought I'd look at satellites etc - probably play the Seniors event if they have one.
So sad seeing so many RIP posts on here.
How are you and Mrs Red? x

I'm fabulous as ever.

Mrs Red is fabulous too. I keep telling her how lucky she is to have me but she seems sceptical.

PS- Did you notice how I resisted making a joke about lady gardens? I must be growing up.

Please don't grow up!

Why would Boris, or anyone else for that matter, bother to make over a flat that by definition is just a temporary home?

Also, if he lied about the funding isn't inevitable that he will be found out? I thought he was brighter than that.

pressure from his g/f I'm guessing - I think PM's redecorate to their chosen style because they might be there for 8 years - I remember seeing photos in one of the Sunday papers of Cameron and his newly decorated flat full of John Lewis wallpaper

This will come as new information to Dingdell and a complete shock to everyone else who has been more exposed to my posts:

Occasionally, once in a very long while, perhaps once every few thousand posts, when the conditions all align in a particular way, if you happen to come at it from an unusual angle and squint a bit...

...I can be a teensy bit odd.

Barely noticeable though, tbh.

No I already knew - I got the memo.  Grin

Bit of an issue with the front end, there.

I expect the drag races today have lower suspension.

That's what you got from that picture?? :-) I'm female and even I wasn't looking at the car.... lol

Great updates Tighty - Gl to Nick Hicks - that would be a very popular win.

apropros nothing really, but I happened across these two images this morning. Don't even try to think what I was looking for, please.

It's uncanny how I get drawn to this thread just at the right time :-)

Not sure how smoke in the rectum would revive someone - but I am on it.
14  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Guess Ivey wants his dough... on: May 24, 2013, 01:14:25 AM
Even if Ivey had noticed the flaw and taken advantage... so what? Casinos fault for putting on the game surely.

Unless they're about to contact everyone who had played and lost when there were imperfect cards and offer them refunds then I don't see how they've got a leg to stand on.

True, they should pay up for this reason. I still question Ivey's morals though. It's pretty close to stealing.

can someone remind me of the golf story wasn't Ivey involved in that one to? Was he the one being cheated? And of so didn't he refuse to pay up - or was that someone else?
