Is there somewhere where it shows when the table has been updated until? Is the plan to update it daily?

Thanks

Question is if after saying 'Raise,' if the other guy snap mucked would he still say 'only joking' and give him the pot?  I doubt this.  Pay the man his money.  As for getting the money, slightly harder.  You can take it at the cash in desk if he tries to cash out to get back the rest which would be his money, but he's drunk and from OP it sounds like this is about £50 so me might forfeit this out of spite.  So then you have £1.2k of actual money behind the cash desk and a collection of plastic buttons in his pocket as he leaves.  There was a potential old wive's tale back in the day about it being illegal to take chips out of a casino as their are technically casino property.  I have no idea if this is true or not but would be a helpful way of getting the discs off of him in the car park if a few gentlemen, possibly taller than most who usually work the doorway area of said casino, explain it to him in those terms.

Either way, the actual money from the discs is behind the cash desk and can be paid out to the player quite easily.  However you'd have to put it in immediate play if he's continuing.

The action folded to Stuart Rutter on the button and he raised to 10,500. Daniel Alaei called from the big blind and checked the {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop with Rutter continuing for 12,000. Alaei then pushed in a stack of chips before Rutter moved all in for 73,000 with Alaei instantly making the call.

Although Rutter was the first hand to be paused, his would be the last to be played out.

Rutter: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Alaei: {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}

With Rutter at risk, the turn of the {4-Diamonds} and river of the {7-Diamonds} ensured him the double to 174,000 as Alaei slipped to 145,000 in chips.

Nice!!!!

ITM now Smiley

Reading the updates on the WSOP site during the bubble of the main and I saw what, in my opinion, is an astounding over reach and break in ethics from the EPSN production crew.  Considering the One Drop/Coleman discussion, is this anywhere near acceptable or the way highly exposed poker tournaments are going to go?  And will it be allowed next time?

Taken from the update blog on from WSOP.com

We just witnessed an enormous pot over on Table 365 in the Amazon Orange section a few spots away from the money.

The action folded around to Stephen Graner in the small blind and he made it 17,500 to go. Dan Smith called from the big blind and the flop came down . two spades

Graner bet 25,000 on the flop and Smith made the call in position. The turn brought the and Graner bet another 65,000. This time Smith opted to raise it up to 175,000 and Graner went into the tank.

After a while Graner three-bet to 430,000 and this put Smith in the tank for several minutes. Eventually, with all the ESPN cameras rolling, Smith made the call.

The river brought out the and Graner paused for about a minute before checking to Smith. Smith started counting down his own stack and about two minutes later he announced, "All in."

Graner sighed.

Graner tanked.

About five minutes went by, as Graner started talking to himself before ultimately letting go of his hand. Graner pushed his cards to the muck and the ESPN production staff was about to grab his cards when Graner freaked out.

"You're not recording my cards! I paid $400 rake to play this tournament, you are not filming my cards!" Graner yelled.

Graner and the member of the production staff got tangled over the cards and eventually the dealer ripped the cards to the side.

"Don't film my cards! It's only Day 4 anyway, so who cares?" a very upset Graner yelled.

"I was going to show, but now I think that's unfair," Dan Smith said as he swiftly put his cards into the muck.

"He mucked his cards! Now you definitely can't show mine!" Graner yelled.

Eventually Graner's cards were mucked and we will never know what either player had. What we do know is that Smith is the chip leader right on the bubble!

Losing a number of the all time greats this year.

Di Stefano played before my time, but I have been lucky enough to chat to Brian Glanville on a number of occasions while in a football press room or two.  Brain, a man whose age and eloquence always makes you think he's seen every professional football match ever played, held Di Stefano in the highest regard when it came to greats of the game.  Here is his Di Stefano obit http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jul/07/alfredo-di-stefano

I can't imagine a more talent filled game than that England v RotW one either.  So many of the greats.

i reckon there are seven imajor storylines for 5

- What happens to Arya in Braavos?
- What happens to Tyrion?
- Sansa Stark becomes an adult...where does her story line go?
- Jon Snow/Stannis Baratheon and Melisandre...
- How does Cersei get on at Kings Landing minus Tywin?
- Bran, Hodor and crew
- Daenerys and the dragons, struggle to control, advance on kings landing?

what would be your guesses on where those storylines go?

My guesses would be:

Arya joins up with the faceless men of Bravos to get some ninja training

Varys spends most of the next season trying to help Tyrion find a purpose for what to do next, I assume it will take the form of discovering Litterfinger was behind the Purple Wedding as Varys seems pretty intent on stopping his rise.

Sansa and Littlefinger have awkward sexually tense scenes week after week while doing a tour of The Vale, Robyn is odds on to be chalked off in a hideous way somewhere out there before the couple head to Kings Landing.  Littlefinger to make a play for the Big Chair

I think the lads up North will finally have a proper set of White Walkers to deal with, Melisande seeing something important about Jon through the medium of something burning.

Cersei and Margery fight over control of Tomlin.

Bran spends the season getting mentored by Tree Man.  He says he will fly, I would guess he's either gonna warg a dragon or learn how to ride one, not sure which would be better as a viewer.

Dany never leaves the throne room.  But her storyline continues to be consolidating power in Slavers Bay.  We have a Barbarian in control of one of the cities, I guess her action will be sending the Second Sons there to take it back.  Also see needs to hunt down the big dragon which has gone missing.

Also, Brienne I guess must head north now to the Wall and we might find out what ever happened to Rikkon.

So I have a year to convince myself The Hound isn't dead.  I think I can come up with something in that time involving The Brotherhood.

Solid ender to the best season yet imo.  Dance getting shot in the privy is probably the biggest loss to the series but we have more Dinklage to look forward to.  Of all the set piece scenes and big points, my favourite moment was the look on Varys' face as he sat down next to the crate waiting for the ship to cast off.  Beautifully underplayed moment as I guess he feels he must move into exile as well.

I think I might use the year to start reading the books.  From some of the stuff online I've seen they are beginning to branch away (have no idea If true, sometimes the internet lies). which for me is great.  Just like Walking Dead comics v TV, instead of people getting precious about the source material if the TV one is done well then you just have double the material to enjoy imo.

Taping the opener.  From ITV.  I need to know two things before I press play later:

1)  Is Andy Townsend there?
2)  Did he bring his little table?
