Must be some value in Oxford at the weekend surely with the chaos in Cumbria?  Carlisle can't possibly have their mind focused on football at the minute with the floods.  Training this week must be nearly impossible.  Most of their cars are drowned in water at the ground after leaving them there for the fa cup game at the weekend.  Players offering their services to the public to help out all week will take their mind even more off the game away at the league leaders.  They seem very short Luton already but these are unique circumstances and they had a 600 mile round trip on Sunday in the fa cup and then another big road trip this weekend to Luton in the space of 6 days.  They got one of the worse defences in the league conceding 36 goals in 20 games even though they are in the top 6.  Not an ideal time to play the toughest game of the season away to the league leaders off short rest after a long road trip.

Probably worth looking at some of the extreme hcap's imo with Luton having the best defence in the league.  Big prices on luton -2 and -3.  Anyone got any thoughts?

Are the Luton mentions typos? You're just talking about the Carlisle vs Oxford game I assume

I've had some of the Oxford -3 @ 12/1 and Oxford -4 @ 33/1 both with red man if Fred wants any

I've mentioned before a very good friend of mine is close to people in Carlisle set up, I've texted him to see if he's had any feedback.

Curle has Carlisle at a different level now and although still leaking goals the attack is on fire.

The team is a strong unit playing for each other and I think this disaster will bring them closer and wouldn't suggest a large bet against them.

I was sitting at a table recently at DTD and one guy was always on his phone surfing and continuously failing to post his antes/blinds.

It slows the game down and does get on my tits.

One hand the dealer asked for his antes/blind and he had the temerity to ask him to speak up to him as he was wearing headphones (sure he wasn't taking the piss either).

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry

Good luck in Malta. There's some nice restaurants in an area called st Julian's. If you've not heard of it let me know and i can sort out directions Smiley

Oh, and stick a warning up next time you put naked pictures up. Gave me flashbacks of that night in a derby hotel Sad
Cheers Son

Arrived last night and tried to keep it from my Maltese family that I was coming prior to the wedding but unfortunately my old dear let the cat out the bag so I have already been texted 5 times from cousins and Aunties wanting to meet up but that goes with the territory here.

We're staying away from St Julian's in Sliema at a friend of family appt called Bay View which kinda misdescribes the one bed appt that my mum will take over when Petra and the kids arrive Tuesday as there is not even a glimpse.

I really love Malta and every time I come here it just feels like home!!!

Great to hear this sounds like a fun family time as well as picking up some mega title and wonga.

Enjoy :-)

Hi Rich

You might have gathered I didnt get there but after a 10 hour journey last Tuesday from Nottingham to Inverness - nearly 2 hours circumventing the Edinburgh bypass due to an accident I had enough of driving.

So despite giving up what I thought would be nailed on making the final table for me  Wink decided to enjoy the weekend in Inverness dog walking and watching as much rugby as possible.

Look forward to your Malta trip and big bucks return from the EPT.

Cheers

Thanks guys for the info.

Im still confused as to what will suit me but gonna mull over your advice.

I currently have an Aspire 5542 with 500gb HDD and still have 360gb free, so feel a SDD would be suitable.

The machine is tired and I plan to give it to a family member who will appreciate it.

Hi

My current laptop seems to be showing signs of fail.

Its about 5 years old and struggling to boot up.

I need for business as well as social so thinking of replacing.

I dont do any games or stuff.

Any thoughts on a good replacement up to £600 or so?

Cheers

thought this was a remarkable graphic

Good grief.

Maybe they were just very unlucky?

Im a Carlisle fan and we expected a spanking as the Liverpool team was very strong and not a mix of youth/academy/fringe players some Liverpool fans thought should have started and still got the job done.

These guys showed the difference in class/skill level on the night as they gave Carlisle the run around as the possession shows but as for finishing the stats show how poor they were.

Carlisle put in a sterling rearguard which is all most teams at our level can attempt to do and try to nick a winner on the break.

Methinks Brendan does have his days numbered though.
