One of the first players that stood out to me when I got in to poker. And then happened to work with him for a few months around 4 years ago. A few on here will know him quite well I would think.

RIP.

Those tiddly putts are so expensive to miss but we all do it.

Great card though.

Much more consistent today. Almost felt like l knew what I was doing. Had a blob free round....
Well, almost.

87 for 40 stabbos.

Got to be happy with that Tom. 👏👏👏

Played much better today but frustratingly missed x2 2ft putts.

I see that was the tougher course today and it was a bit warm even for a youngster like you Tom.

I'm just going to play nine tomorrow and then wait until the comp on Saturday and slightly less humid conditions.

As Starmer is in the process of being replaced, Politicians of all Parties seem to refer to the "good old days" when people voted in, and removed, Prime Ministers. However, the reality is very, very different.

Since 1940, there have been 18 (soon to be 19) Prime Ministers. How many were initially elected into that position? 7. Just 3 since Thatcher in 1979.

How many were both voted in, and voted out, by the electorate? 2. The last being Edward Heath (1970-74). The last Prime Minister to actually last for an entire term was Cameron (2010-14)-shortly before being forced to keep quiet about his Opposition to Brexit.

This constant need for change is not primarily due to Politicians. It is the electorate being unwilling to give anyone time to deliver the actual manifesto that people voted for. Conservative and Labour alike.

We get the Politicians we deserve.

Better, but it was a game of two halves. 40 out, 49 home for 39 stabbos.
Going to persevere with the new grip and swing though.

Great card though Tom 👏👏👏

I used my new driver yesterday and never hit it so far. However the rest of my game got left behind and shot 102 😪😪

Tony is the real bandit. I wouldn't be surprised if the federales carted him off one of these days.
