What did he do?

Wearing a Galatasary shirt in the stands V Leeds I think

Do Leeds fan still sing the runway song?

He was doing the stabbing gesture to the Leeds fans wearing the Galatasary shirt a few weeks ago vs Millwall.

I aint heard the runway song for a while, but brent or soviet go to home games more often would know. I would really hope not.

If they do, they can hardly be outraged or annoyed when a Millwall fan does to them what Leeds fans having been doing to Man U fans for 30 years.

Yes because of course two wrongs make a right. It's ok to be a complete tool becasue some Leeds fans are.

I would guess the Leeds United Service Crew are the ones who sing the Runway Song.

Don't these guys realise that football violence is very 1980's, all the cool kids go choose the local high street on Friday nights for their weekly punch up fix nowadays.

so like i said its OK for someone to dress up at a football game in a galatasary shirt and do the slitting throat motion all the way through it? Because some Leeds fans sing/have song a chant. ooooooook.

I imagine the Leeds service crew are all middle aged men, with families, reading facebook, reminiscing about Bournemouth 25years ago, very little actual fighting these days thank goodness.

I cant believe you think this is fine and dandy behaviour.

Where did I say that I think the Millway guy's behaviour is acceptable?

He is obviously a complete headcase tool.

But threatening organised retribution is obviously an overreaction to the actions of a complete nutter.

Instead of saying the Millwall fan was a complete twat and deserved anything he gets*, your harp on about a 50 year old song some Leeds fans have sung and that this somehow means they should not be upset at the aforementioned ridiculous behaviour.

On that crazy logic anyone can provoke Leeds fans however they want and we cannot complain or feel its tasteless? we somehow deserve it?

IMO he should have been arrested and banned from football for life.

*It's a famous WACCOE forum thing to do, no violence done or needed, he will most probs be receiving free porn catalogues for the rest of his life though.

No, what I'm saying is it's a bit rich to get worked up about one individual who behaves like an arse when several hundred or even thousands of Leeds fans behave in a completely similar manner.

Leeds are the most hated team in the country for a reason, that is they manage to piss off more opposition fans than any other.

The only time I've felt genuinely scared at a football match was v Leeds Utd.

No surprise there most neutrals would agree.

Not sure Leeds are the most hated now, we just a league 1 team Smiley I always enjoyed my trips to QPR, one of the many places Leeds fans could engulf the place, local pubs, stands, ground.

It was in the early 80's.

Not sure of the exact circumstances but it was a big game for both teams right at the end of the season (think it might have been our promotion year and you needed points to go up too).

Paul Hart (I think) scored an own goal for us to win 1-0 and the Leeds fans rioted, there were about 8 police horses on the plastic pitch and a couple of the bolted.

It was complete chaos for about 20 minutes. People being taken away on stretchers, police in riot gear the whole lot.

Not heard the song about munich for a long time. Its horrible and I think most leeds fans would agree.

I don't think this makes what the fan in question has done acceptable.

I'm interested to know how many people agree that leeds are the most hated club in the country. I don't doubt it but just interested to know who hates leeds and what there reasons are.

I think Leeds are the most hated team amongst people my age and older.

I can (just) remember the Revie team and how much they were disliked by so many.

Add that to the hooligans of the 70's and 80's (and seemingly of the 2000's too).

Howard Wilkinson wasn't admired or loved by anybody.

A little essence of Peter Ridsdale and the arrogance of the early 2000's

Throw in Ken Bates.

Mix togther.

lol, I kinda like the team being hated. Made away games fun. I cant speak for pre '87 i only go on what my dad and books tell me. We sure was a good team tho in the 70's.

When Wilkinson came after Bremmner he transformed the team and we played the best football in league two, high scoring games, the team run by Mr Strachan on the pitch. We went up and finished 4th, then won the 1st div the season after. Again we scored loads of goals, i think the most away and 3 or 4th most goals at home. I dont think anyone can complain at the football on show.  Problem is it came too quick and Wilkinson couldn't progress. Away games were always fun but for some reason the police in London loved to lead us into shit creak and away fan traps. Thru the 90s you could see the difference in fans, gone were the racist pricks that blighted the 80's it was now unacceptable to be racist in the ground.

The amount of familys there now is unreal, elland road is pretty much a friendly place to go. Saying that I do understand why people hate Bates, half of Leeds fans dispise him, he is yet to put 1p of his own money into us.
