Sky Sports understands that Lee Clark has left his role as manager of League One promotion contenders Huddersfield Town.
They are reporting sacked which is almost unbelievable
Seems he was sacked, Gives us a little extra hope he won't come to us.
+1 little rat he is, huge budget and still couldn't get them up..

Thats interesting, but not a suprise. Around that time Howard Wilkinson had completly lost the plot. As outlined in the article soon to be replaced by Graham who thought his defend as all costs would wwork at Leeds like it did for Arse. Brolin was and never had been a type of player Wilkinson would want (even if fit). I can only assume Wilko was getting desperate.

Seemed a very odd story.

This is the third season in a row Huddersfield have had the best squad in the division.
How they are still in this league is amazing.
I would take Southampton's side last year and it is not even close.

Pilkington, Rhodes, Kilbane, Roberts, Clarke.. backbone of top 6 Championship team imo.

Clarke is AWFUL! One of the worst centre backs around.
Clark would be a terrible appointment. What about trying to get Zola and Wise double act?

The worst-case scenario is this: Robert Snodgrass asks to leave the club, as a player with his ability and record of service is entitled to do. McCormack and Adam Clayton reach the same contractual position which brought about the sales of Max Gradel and Jonathan Howson. Aidan White is out of contract, with no new deal in sight, and so are four other players.
And the four loanees in United’s squad – Darren O’Dea, Fabian Delph, Andros Townsend and Adam Smith – make their excuses and head for the hills.
Now that's scary

Tremendous manager at this level though. I think this is a great appointment for Leeds. If anyone can handle the situation with Bates, expectation, etc then it's Colin Wanker.

You gotta be pleased with Warnock Ffs. The guy has an excellent record and the passion of ten men. He will want to wank it into those that doubt him and he sees this as a massive chance at a massive club so will once again put his heart and soul into the job.
Valid point about him being a bit of a cock but being a Yorkshire man it's an inbreed thing and if he gets you back playing top flight football again then he can become a legend at Leeds ( until he gets the sack again )
