It's these same players who were so awfull under Berti m8 so clearly it's all down to the tactical genius Walter Smith.

One of the comments on You Tube: "Pride of Scotland absolutely brilliant its looking good for the future I haven't felt this good since Archie Gemmell Scored against Holland in 1978"

I suspect a Trainspotting fan with a sense of humour.

Nice to see Kenny Miller found his shooting boots again. Smiley

Can't be that bad m8. We drew with the world champions Italy at Hampden and we also had excellent away wins at Norway and Slovenia so there has been a definate turn around and for u to say we're pish shows u obviously don't watch Scotland games or u just know nothing about football.

you may as well quit just now Mr. Orange, your making yourself look worse with every post.

Have you seen a Scotland game lately? Wake up.

King William knows what he is talking about

Well Done Scotland

tactical genius is maybe taking it a bit too far.

would you say that Wattie has more tactical nous that Bertie Vogts, world cup winner?

I would doubt it. what wattie has done is to return the players to their comfort zone. BV attempted to get the team to play outwith their technical capabilities, and systems that they didnt understand.

When wattie came in, he reverted to more tried and tested methods. He has done well to give the players back their self belief, and seems to have a decent harmony about the squad, for which he should be applauded.

But where is the tactical "genius" in playing 4-4-2, or 4-5-1. Hardly ground breaking stuff is it

I suspect you are "at it" Wink

ps - I for one am delighted in the scottish performances.

1st of all Berti has never won the world cup as manager and secondly Walter is a tactical genius he proved it with Rangers and he is now proving it with scotland. The proof's in the pudding m8 just look at his record.

Our fast flowing football tonight was a joy to watch. If we can get Barry back to full fitness then i guarantee we'll beat the frogs at Hampden and when King William makes a guarantee it always comes through. I will have a dead cert accumulator this weekend so stay tuned folks.

Just a bit of teasing Mr. King.

To be expected when you get your points across in an enthusiastic manner such as you do. Wink

No nastiness intended I'm sure.
