Caros book definately worth a read, also try The Psychology of Poker by Alan Schoonmaker (sp)

Did you like the psychology of poker jezza? I thought it was a waste of time myself.

I liked the book - it think the title is a bit misleading, it could easily be called the "motivation" of poker, but it is mainly geared towards ring games.

I bought Caro's book in a package deal and thought it was a real waste of money that could be summed up in a couple of pages...make that paragraphs...better still, sentences!

I think 'The Psychology of Poker' is one of the best, most thought provoking poker books I own.

I think I read somewhere its not being released in the US until november, and we'll be after that. Could be wrong but I read it from someone who recently went to camp Hellmuth.

I like Bob Ciaffone and Stuart Reuben's 'Pot Limit and No Limit Hold'em' for good no-nonsense stuff.  Not really tell related, but all sensible and well written, which is something many Manuals are sadly not...

One of my favorite books was Matt Matros' The Making Of A Poker Player

I thought it was a very good read.

I saw the Psychology of poker but didn't get it, I will look out for it
