Ramzi Jelassi is OUT

"Probably the sickest pot in EPT history," he claims.

Whether he was being sarcastic or not I'm unsure.

Well, at least I know he wasn't being sarcastic.

Mel Judah raised 1.9k from utg +2, Ramzi re-raises to 5.5k and Mel calls.

Flop =

Mel checks, Ramzi bets 6k, Mel makes it 20k

Ramzi calls the 14k and moves in for his final 8k, Mel calls.

If you can guess the two hands, I will give you hard cash. No bs.

So come on, folks, lets have a few guesses.

What did the two players have?

Okay, I guess the offer of hard cash was a little half-hearted as I knew that unless you cheated, you really had no chance.

Ramzi = Two Diamonds

Mel Judah =

Hmm

Jeff 'Jaffacake' Kimber is on 23k

Another Brit, Lalit Khajuria, is not too far behind with 18k, although he did just double through from a coinflip situation with A-Q vs 7-7

I'm afraid Stuart Fox really is OUT this time. He ran AT ("suited," he added) into chip leader Chad Brown's AA.

Also gone is Flushy's favourite Vanessa Rousso, who pushed for 11k in mid-position with AK only to be called by Martin Green's AQ on the button, Queen on the flop.

From what I understand, Frenchman Bertrand Grospellier is the player spacefrog referred to as Elky earlier on.

If this is correct, then he is indeed still in.

Is this him?

Correct - that is the said Elky. Not my favourite table company, I must say. Great Online player though.

Well, I gotta go, but I must just say thanks to snoops, and a most impressive stint by floppy. Have blonde unearthed another star Updater?

I shall see said Floppy tomorrow in Birmingham, & I wish us both good luck in the maiden APAT Event. He to win it, me to escape alive......

I'll be offline most of the weekend, but I hope Mr Lodden does the business.

Play has now finished for the day, Snoopy is just typing out some of the chip counts for the fifty or so remaining players.

No news on Bengt Sonnert? Cold cards tonite?

He was pretty quiet tonight, just steadily maintaining his stack.

He had a pretty hectic table with Sverre Sundbo, Vanessa Rousso, Ryan Fronda and co. Lots of big pots on that table, perhaps he was just sitting back waiting for his moment, or just trying to get by through playing less intimidating pots. Either way, it seems to have worked as he'll be playing Level 10 tomorrow.

I'm afraid Elky didn't quite make it through to Day 2, he went missing near the end.
