50p?

Out of interest, what was the buy-in here?  This is worse play than on the $3 tables I frequent!

Why the all in on the river?

The hands that Flushy beats will mostly check the river behind him, the hands that he doesn't beat will put him all-in anyway giving him 2-1 and he'll probably have to call. If they've call him this far with 66-TT or a decent Jack, they'll call him on the river too.

Mateboy had already checked tho , surley Flush only gets calles by a hand that beats him? He might get called by a J but I doubt it.

The standard on Tribecca is that bad that Flushy could easily get call by A2 here. Besides, the guy is drawing and still checks when he hits.

I would probably have checked the river, although its player dependant.

Fine apart from i check behind on the river. Im pretty sure you get called here when your beat more often than when you are ahead.

Then you laugh at him for managing to call all the way with the worst hand and then fail to get paid when he outdraws you. Btw im not advocating slagging in the chat box, just a little chuckle to yourself.

2 points I do not like about your play :

1) In late position with KK and a limper in ahead of you (making 750 in the pot) I want to raise more than the 600 you have. Probably say 1200 more

2) I dont like the all in on the river, he has check called you on the flop and the turn (suggesting a draw to me) - I check behind him here and still have 20xBB to recover from. I can understand the all in as you have the , but I also agree with what was said above, you get called here far more times when behind than infront.

Going back to my origional raise of 1200 more, if I get called, and checked to me, I make a weekish bet on the flop, if I am called I will put the guy on a draw and if checked to me again, move all in on the turn. But from reading how he has played the hand, it seems as if he would of called my all in on the turn and the same result would of happened.

But as with all hand analysis questions "how did i play this?" it is VERY hard to comment, and you (being the person at the table at the time, are in the best position (and have alot more knowledge of the type of player) to make the best decision.

You were still u/l in the way you played it.

I like the way you played it up till the river. Agree with Paul that you could have raised it a little more preflop but i think this depends what your standard raise has been/ how the table is playing etc.

On the river, there's a problem. If he had the flush draw, it's come in. If he had the OEstraight draw, it's come in. You don't fold out either of these hands.

It's also possible although unlikely that he's been rope-a-doping you with an 8 but decided to precautionary check the river due to the club arriving. He does probably call your push with a jack, but due to the amount of draws that have come in, I don't think you should be trying to squeeze value out of the hand by putting the rest of your still-quite-reasonable stack on the line.

It seems strange that he would check behind having made his hand so you think, great I'll get some value out of this. I find it's a very common play, however, that players will check their hand on the river having made their draw. It's almost like they are embarrassed to bet now they've chased and hit!

The potential loss outweighs the potential gain here imo, unless you have a very accurate read of his hand.

Agreed, I like how u played it every street except the river, no need to push here in my opinion. U have position use it. The river completes almost all the draws and he still could have an 8 and have had u beat all the way. Obviously his play is awful, but your hand still has a lot of showdown value on the river and he gives u the option to flip it over at no extra cost. UNless u already know the guy is a complete moron, u are not gettin a call from any hand that u beat on the river so u may as well have 6 high when u shove
