103 players remaining.
According to the robotic voice on the mic, they will end the day at 54 and return tomorrow, when I assume they will play down to a final table.

I waltzed back into the cardroom to be greeted by a feast of action. The first of which involved a rather welcome, but ultimately nerve wracking double up for Julian Gardner. With 15k already in the pot, Julian glanced down at the Ace-Five-Four Flop, and then at Mateyboy's 10k bet before moving in for what looked like another 10k. Mateyboy cleary knew that he was lagging behind, a pause which must have brought an inner smile to Julian, but he was virtually obliged to call due to the re-raise being so little in comparison to the pot. Also, there was a flush draw on the Flop, which must have contributed to the final call, a play which eventually led to him shoving in his 10k and revealing Kings. Of course, Julian did have his nuts in the palm of his hand and turned over a rather tasty A-T. But although it looked invincible to only a King, the Turn, as it usually tends to do, would have Julian's bowels moving in and out like the clappers as it brought a third heart, and therefore a flush draw for Mateyboy. A red Eight on the River, but not a heart, and Julian was finally allowed to breathe a big sigh of relief, scooping the 55k pot in the process. Watch out Amsterdam, you're creating a monster there.

Jen is currently on 9k having not really played a hand for an hour. She assures me that with the blinds now at 400 and 800, she'll be shoving it in soon. Fingers crossed she survives.
