Big hand for Marc Goodwin, who gave a totally convincing impersonation (to me) of a player re-stealing from the blinds - putting an extra 7,000 over the top of Matey's preflop raise.  He found a push in against him, and either this player (whom we thought was Driton Haxhiaj but probably wasn't seeing as he had 2k last time Snoopy reported) was really, really tight or Marc saying "Oh deary me," was on his opponent's behalf...
Marc called showing .  He was up against .
Flop:
Turn and river:   and Mr. Cool has just 3,000 left as the blinds are about to be raised to 200/400 ante 50.

JP calls off another chunk of chips:  A rather optimistic bets 5k on the river with the board three diamonds , which is actually over a third of JP's stack (although he's hoarded 25 and 100 chips into giant towers which might confuse the unwary)... he goes into a deep tank, running through hands which his opponent could have, staring the hell out of him and generally thinking and thinking until time was called and he'd come to a decision.  The Ace was good, however, and he mucked his hand, muttering with wry smile, "I guess you qualified online, huh?"

Funnily enough, I remember back over a year ago when Jon Hewston said something very similar to JP at Sheffield...made Flushy cackle like a witch though.

BREAKING NEWS

Dave Shelley looked as though he was going to break into his 6,375 stack and play a hand, but changed his mind at the last second. The 'nun's crevice' is going to fold his way to the final!!

The Camel is out after having to stick the rest of his bowl of rice in with .  Joe Koumi had already raised to 1,200, and the 2,025 total wasn't getting rid of him, even when Keith cried, "Please fold.  Fold.  Please."
Joe called, showing .  "Oh, no, call with that," revises Camel.
The flop brought an , however, and even though he picked up a straight draw of sorts on the turn, it didn't come, and he finishes in 105th place.

The players are just completing the 15 minute break.

Honest to God, Keith 'The Camel' Hawkins nearly had a heart attack when he saw the basket of fruit!!  Shocked

Jon Hewston is looking rather disgruntled after being knocked down to 13k. "I had top pair and got blooming rivered," mumbled Texas.
