Shane Shleger or Shaniac (I see what he did there, very clever) is also present, recently winning a nice pot after betting a
Flop. As he raked in the chips, it was difficult to get a count, but it appeared to be around the 20k mark.
To prove that he did actually go to bed rather than spend all night online as most young American hot shots seem to do, here is proof that he has at the very least encountered a change of clothes from yesterday.

Soren Kongsgaard has take a big pot off Guerti Mebah with Jacks v Tens. 4-4-8-6-9 board. The latter is down to 17k as a result.

can you do updates on Mark Pinter table 4 seat 1?
Certainly, he's a dirty stacker, so much so I had to ask how much he had, "24k" was the answer.
Ash Hussain has doubled up with A-K against Ricki Neilsen's A-Q.
Sverre Sundbo is OUT, he didn't want to talk about it...
Nick 'Ripple11' Jenkins has just been moved off Johnny Lodden's table, "He just raised 9-5o hit trip fives and busted some poor guy."

Judging by the empty seats, Alfred Zaccagnino, Carl Olsen, Dan Glimne and one of the biggest names here today (20 letters!), Jan Christoph Von Halle, have all bitten the dust during these early stages.
By the way (and to add some chitchat:
Jan is Katja Thaters boyfriend and they are gping to get married this year during the WSOP.
This is what he posted on his blog a couple of days ago:
Oh, there is one more important thing: Katja and I are going to get married. In Las Vegas. During the WSOP this year. After all those years we will finally keep our promises. Details will follow.

Rumour has it that Barry Greenstein, Chris Moneymaker and John Shipley (who would have believed that the former was the only one not to make a WSOP Main Event final??) have all bittend the dust.

Swift correction, Greenstein is still in.

If you look in any poker dictionary under LAG it just has a picture of Ali, very dangerous player with chips who will make most scandies look like rocks
LOL v true. Will play anything as long as he 'has outs'
Please wish him luck from myself and his old colleagues at Virgin...
