yep good luck in Athens Kinboshi

Out of 92 football league clubs - the only two i genuinely dislike are Chelsea and Spurs.

Man Utd i am not a big fan of but this season i have enjoyed watching their football and seeing them beat chelsea to the league is the lesser of two evils for me.

I just wish we could have passionate rivalry without the thugs and hooligans.  this is the biggest disappointment in football for me.

my business partner is a mad chelsea fan and most my best mates are mad spurs fans - we love each others failings but thats where it ends.  We are mates so iunfortunately i really dont get the violence - i dont see how they can be true fans as surely they have mates who are rival fans

on that at least we can all agree.

Main reason I watch football at home or in a pub I know well is the same reason I don't like busy nightclubs and large outdoor events. I don't like big crowds and I hate random violence.

i don't think that aversion automatically makes me less of a fan

As a passionate Liverpool fan, my favourite team is obviously Liverpool - followed by ABU - anyone but united.  This passion has also grown to include an extreme dislike to chelsea.  My current dilemma is trying to decide who I'd prefer to win the league (or least not mind winning it).  Although I detest maureen's attitude and general being, my dislike of manure is stronger.  So I was disappointed with last weekend's results (even though I had to laugh at everton) - but thought Wednesday night was hilarious!

In Europe, I want any British club to do well - except for manure or chelsea.  Aresenal, Spurs, Celtic, even Bolton - I want them to win.  I wanted Arsenal to win the CL last year, and wanted Spurs to do well in the UEFA Cup this year.

I love the banter between rival fans - but not the violence that idiots on both sides resort to under the banner of their clubs.  That's bollocks as far as I'm concerned.

I'm a big rugby league fan, and tomorrow is rugby league's biggest match - Wigan v saint helens (Leed and Bradford fans might disagree, but they'd be wrong of course).  The 'hatred' between the two towns is enormous (only 8 miles between the two as well), and the only bigger pleasure in rugby that Wigan winning, is stains losing.  But I've spent many a great night drinking with stains fans after a match with plenty of good-humoured banter.  It's a shame football can't match this most of the time.

Anyway, come the 23rd, I hope LeKnave is cheering Milan on, and I hope I can laugh at him at the end when we lift our 6th European Cup and 'Big Ears' is back home where it belongs - at Anfield.

Again, well said...

But.......

Liverpool are playing in Red and AC in white.  But good effort.

I don't support any premiership clubs, i am however a big fan of Juventus, even though there is a big rivalry between Juve and AC i would still rather see AC win than an English team.

Having said that Liverpool have always been my favourite Prem team and so its no great loss if they win.
