Only a grade one tear for Torres, still, I'd be tempted to give him a month off without kicking a ball, needs more rest.

Could work out as a blessing in disguise if it means he gets some proper pre-season rest.  It might mean he isn't as sharp come the start of the season, but sod that - we need him for the whole season not just for a few months.

Sounds positive with regards to Gerrard and Torres, but looks very, very likely that Mascherano is off.
