Agree with Kin. Sakho's passing is actually v decent he just looks gangly.
Can lookin pretty awesome, especially going forward. He could be a real bargain.
Ibe just has it all.
Apart from a left foot.

The biggest change Rodgers made was giving Skrtel 2 partners at the back. He hasnt made a single mistake since then and his confidence is bleeding into Mignolet. It also helps that instead of having 3 centre backs, we have 2 centre backs and Can - which means that Skrtel and Sakho dont have to worry as much about bringing the ball out, as Can is able to do this. I've also noticed on my rare forays up to Anfield that the three of them warm up together and once the whole team has finished the team warmups, those three go off to the side and practice close, one touch passing between the three of them in a triangle, whilst the rest of the team try to kill the fans behind the goal
Gotta agree with Kin and Keith as well, Sakho can actually pass, its just a pity he looks like a giraffe when he has the ball.

Sakho is highly deceptive. He looks like another Djimi Traore, but can actually control the ball.

Thought I saw Ibe a left footed stinger from outside the box that Lloris struggled to hold onto? Memory a little hazy. Obv a small sample but looked ok to me (if it was in fact him).

Mario with a decent 45 minutes there. He's improving, eventually. Just needs to put that effort in regularly.

That last ten minutes was an absolute masterclass in how to kill a game.

Absolutely ridiculous if confirmed, but apparently Markovic gets 4 game ban in Europe.

For this:
When golden boy Ronaldo gets 2 games for punching and kicking someone. Absolutely ridiculous.

To be fair he did nearly kill someone. A very lenient and proportionate ban imo.

Superb strike from Coutinho. Think it was a good job that happened, as Southampton were the better team for most of the match.
Not lost in the last 10 league games, and not conceded in the last five away games in the league. Rodgers deserves some credit for turning things around. Even today, he changed things at half-time and it made a big difference.
Got a huge slice of luck today, but I'll take that

Two great goals again to beat City, but overall a very good performance. Good to see Henderson and Allen boss the midfield.
Can't completely discount Southampton and Spurs, but it's looking increasingly like a battle between Liverpool and United for a top 4 spot, with Arsenal again looking likely to get the other. Another interesting end to the season.

Our remaining fixtures (on paper) don't look to kind though;
Arsenal and Chelsea away nasty.
Then tricky away's at the likes of Swansea, Hull, West Brom and Stoke. (top 3 / 4 teams though win at these grounds!)
Home games more appealing - Burnley, Mancs, Newcastle, QPR and Palace.

Aye, but yesterday didn't look like a great fixture for us on paper. If we can string a run of results close to what we've managed this year, then we're going to be very much in the mix for a top 4 finish. Arsenal and United are still the bookie's favourites, but Rodgers seems to have got the side motoring nicely now, and hopefully he can maintain this momentum until the end of the season.
As has been said elsewhere, going out of the Europa League could be a blessing as it's going to be one match a week from now on most of the way in, and no Thursday night games in Eastern Europe to stretch the already stretched squad. Didn't do too badly after last Thursday's 120-minutes though

Incredible performance yesterday considering the fact that the squad were either playing after 120 minutes in Europe or coming back from injury.
Have never been Allens biggest fan but he has been superb covering for Lucas.
