Moving on from the shenanigans...
Imo Carroll is the best signing out of Downing/Henderson/Carroll. Downing is just an absurd deal which I don't understand at all. As for Henderson, what had he even done beforehand to pay so much for him ? It seems really unlikely that Liverpool are going to get back into the CL this season tbh and whether Dalglish wins the cup or not that has to be seen as a failure. I know Bellamy has dodgy knees but you didn't have a game for a week, why didn't he play today ? So many strange decisions.
Henderson I didn't mind out of the 3. He's young English and only going to get better. Would I have brought him in over Aquilani though? Carroll has had 3 good performances which have included assists and a goal. As Floppy said on msn yesterday, after seeing what Ba didto Utd and knowing De Gea's issues it's a bit crazy to not start him. Downing seems to have been bought on the back of 2 good seasons and hasn't done it for me. |

I'm sure Evra will accept it in the spirit in which it should have been made. Over till next season no doubt, odds on for a Liverpool MU Community Shield? |

Pearce accepted he was wrong and apologised straight away. Had Suarez done likewise, been encouraged to do likewise by his club perhaps, this could all have been over by Christmas |

Seriously? You should be more worried by how Liverpool have handled this whole episode from start to finish, including King Kenny's first reaction being 'well he's claimed this before hasn't he'. Suarez T shirt anyone? |
