Apparently the Ince deal is off, and Liverpool are looking to Europe instead.
 Good news I think.

 thoughts on henderson now??
have sang his praises for a long time, would love him at Newcastle.

Still not really delivered on his transfer fee and promise as of yet - but I still think he will, given time.  Definitely got a lot of potential. Another good 60-minutes or so tonight as well. |

Carragher on as sub.  Now only Callaghan with more league appearances than him for Liverpool. |

I wouldn't say good news as he'll add significantly to our side. |

 As expected...........sigh.

When the hell was he worth £12 million? Hope he does well for Liverpool, though fully expect him to start off well before sliding backwards until we sell him for sod all in a couple of years |

i like the sturridge signing, would be good if he could hit the ground running
 man utd a
 norwich h
 arsenal a
 man city a

next 4 league games gonna be the key to the season i think.

Glad Cole is moving on, dont like the idea of the £4m payoff though if true, depends which paper you read.

I thought Sturridge was impressive at Bolton when he had a run playing as the main striker. Having a spell of being the main man up front meant he scored 8 in 12 and really got into his stride. Apart from Bolton he's been in and out of teams and pushed wide. He's at a good age for development into the team under Rodgers and £12m for a promising British striker is pretty good business imo. And Liverpool had to get a no.9 in this window. |

he's a young, decent forward - and he hasn't cost the earth either.

fk me, it must be nice to be a Liverpool fan, does money grow on trees around Anfield? If Leeds ever spent a tenth of that on one player I'd host a street party In other news, thought it was pretty deece that Gerrards played every minute of every league game so far this season I hope Liverpool can push up the table now and challenge for 4th |

Gerrard, Johnson, Enrique and more importantly Reina, since his injury, are all on fine form. Downing looks like a new player and Suso is getting better every week. Sterling will be some player. I'm looking forward to the second half of the season. If the back 4 behave themselves we'll have a good run in I think. If we make it through the next 4 games with 6 points we wouldn't be in an awful position to kick on.
It looks like the Ince deal is back on.

Apparently David Villa is available for £15m.
Liverpool have bid £35m and Arsenal have bid £5m.
