If there is, I hope it's put into good use by replacing the FA and PFA with people that actually care about the intergrity of the game and not thier own agendas.

On this day in 1978, Bob Paisley became the first British manager to retain the European Cup. In total, he won three European Cups during a nine-year reign at Anfield - a tally no manager in history can match.

Legend. An unassuming man, but a fantastic manager.

Love this quote:
""This is the second time I've beaten the Germans here... the first time was in 1944. I drove into Rome on a tank when the city was liberated." - Paisley after Liverpool won the European Cup, against Borussia Moenchengladbach, in Rome in 1977.

Sturridge hat-trick. Think that's 10 goals from his last 10 starts.
Some very good Liverpool play today, and Coutinho again showing his class.

I think most people recognise the quality of Rafa as a good cup manager

I think if I was a fan I'd be calling for Rafa to replace Brentan. Has he achieved much season 1. Dont watch them enough to really know but they still seem a long way short of breaking into the big 5

Liverpool were the highest scoring away side this season in the league (so I heard) - and that's playing with only one recognised striker for much of it. So that means the defence needs sorting, as does the home form. Simples.
With some good signings this summer, Liverpool should be challenging for a top 4/5 place. Would have loved to have seen Rafa back at Liverpool (and he really wanted the job as well), but now we have Brendan, he needs to be given time and support from the owners and we'll see where he can take Liverpool. Hopefully, into the top 4...

Some recognise him as a good manager. Didn't do too badly with Liverpool in the league, and his record at Valencia speaks for itself.

I'm secretly hoping he comes to nufc. he never would though, ofc. but we can hope. he's not quite a '100% wouldn't come to nufc' like e.g. a Mourinho might be, but the chances are less than 2%, i think.
