Havnt checked but prior to match it was stated that Last 6 games reffed by agent Webb we have lost.
Had enough chances to win but cant win them all.
Onwards and upwards.

Thought we deserved at least a draw today we created so many chances today especially Sturridge who you back to take at least one of them and the stonewall pen not given, was worried when jones was in net today who is absolutely useless but did well today nice to see agger back in the team too just wished he got that header on target

I thought Reina showed quite a few signs of falling away last year. Whether this was temporary of a permanent drop in form, tricky to say. Only 31 years old, after all
Whether Mignolet is the answer, too early to say. Still young and obviously not got the rounded game of a fully fledged top notch keeper
Fair comment about Reina (more the year before for me)
but still better in his sleep than Mignolet.
I don't think spells under Dalglish and especially Hodgson helped Reina at all. His statement after he left was awful, so I don't have any love for the guy, but genuinely put him above every other major club's keeper bar Spurs.
Very harsh that IMO, for 2 to 3 years Reina was not producing the goods and looked half arsed doing it, when he was good he was real good, but don't forget when he first joined how it took him time to settle, remember the Everton game? Mignolet has made some errors yes but he has also pulled off some brilliant saves and IMO his distribution has improved as the season went on, he could command the area a bit better but Reina wasn't exactly coming out and claiming crossed balls himself.
SM doesn't command the area, position himself as quickly, distribute half as well plus his timing looks like it's off. He's a great shot stopper I agree but that's a standard required attribute. I am not convinced at all.
I'd like to hear Tighty's opinion on SM.

SM for me is the new Shay Given, a great shot stopper who will always catch the eye but the other attributes needed not so good.
Of course could improve and should be given at least next season to mature.

Pretty much that. Good shot-stopper but even young keepers with a natural talent have that
Develop distribution, comand of area, leadership etc in the next two seasons and all is good

Not sure he should have two seasons to do that. I wouldn't give Cissokho two seasons to learn how to stop and pass a ball and if Liverpool are to be competing with the top sides then there need to be 11 top quality players on the pitch.
For me Reina will will be an immediate improvement.

Disagree
Reina is on the downslope, slagged off the club, people need to move on
Mignolet is 25, needs time and patience. At goalkeeper more than any other position, this is the case
Obviously there is a Begovic for example who I think is superb, but why spend £xm replacing Mignolet? Stick with it for a copuple of seasons

If Liverpool doesn't make the CL this season, then it's unlikely that top class players will be attracted to the club, and those at the club may look to move elsewhere. That means it becomes even harder to get CL football.
I think Liverpool can get a CL place this season, even carrying one or two 'passengers'. Just not sure that having the keeper as one of these 'passengers' is the most sensible thing for the club. All other things aside, I still think that having Reina in goal for the remaining 12 games of this season would be better than having Mingolet between the sticks.

The Liverpool team in full is: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge.
Substitutes: Jones, Teixeira, Toure, Moses, Allen, Aspas, Cissokho.

What did Reina say when he left?
