Follow the money

Man City - Abu Dhabi
Chelsea - Russian making himself famous so the Putin does not "retire" him
PSG- Qatar
Barca - 50% of Spanish TV revenue + Qatar
Real Madrid - dodgy sale of land to the city of Madrid plus the other half of Spanish TV revenue
Bayern Munich - boring Germans who use strategy and tactics and play as a team - will never catch on
Man U - big stadium, plus hedge fund money (more of a hindrance than a help) - Sir AF
Arsenal - Wenger (+ Dein)
Italian teams - lol

Based on kit deals, looks like Liverpool would be in the Top Ten

How does adidas warrant paying nearly twice as much as the market rate - worldwide fan base / asian market with mancs yes, but so do most of the others.

Is this the way around FFP!?

Haven't seen the news piece but it does state "Biggest Contract", perhaps Man United's is a longer contract than the others?

Figure quoted is per year!! The contract is 10years and for all kit and training gear. Nike refused the deal regarding it as too expensive. Adidas state they expect to take 1.5b over the course of the contract.
