I'm fully aware that in the ego-fuelled poker world it's not done to large someone up, but.....
Young Miss Nutt, who was second in yesterday's DTD £300 - what a talent she is in the making!
I've rarely seen any individual so in control of a Table. Totally relaxed, 100% at home playing pots, brutaly & mercilessly aggro. I heard (but never saw) reports that she was a tad volatile, but well, I can't recall seeing anyone at a Table in a long time who was so comfy, so in her element, so dominant.
I gather she already won (?) an ECOOP Event, but if that girl does not cut a swathe through Live Poker & get herself signed up by someone, & shake a few reputations, I'll be hugely surprised.
She took psychological control of all her oppos. Great to watch too, if you enjoy the nuances of body language.
Played with her for a while Saturday, and wasn't sure what to expect - had read some not so complimentary comments on a previous update I think.
Thought she played beautifully, and I loved her game.
Not saying she was faultless but got a real spark about her.

Beutifully summed up Neil. I heard very bad reports about her ability & temprement, & set out to look at her closely. She amazed, surprised & mesmerised me, I could not stop staring at her, she was so in control. The laddos were there with their hoodies & wooly hats, scowling for England, & the girl blasted them off the table as if they were nothing.
I have interviewed brother Daniel several times, both here & in Vegas, but never her - I don't even know her first name.
I was blewed away.

Tikay i know your interested in aviation so if your ever at a loose end you should take a look at this thread in OOT on 2+2.
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/34/other-other-topics/ask-me-about-being-airline-pilot-flying-general-628324/
Once you get past the teenagers asking about the mile high club it turns into a great thread. The pilot answering has a great way of explaining the aspects of air travel without being condesending even to the daftest questions.
It's 85 pages long but well worth a read especially for anyone who is scared of flying as he is very reassuring.
I'm engrossed in that 2 +2 Thread.
Is "Ask Me" on 2 + 2 a Series, a'la "The Well", or just a one-off?

yep she pretty muched pwned me in the 300£. I didnt have much info on the player but I knew she was fearless and aggro. Plays very good.
I didnt know she was Italian. If I knew this I would completly change my game plan when I was sat to the right of her.
I saw her getting frustrated at times and made some very questionable calls. The 24 springs to mind. I can see her making a big score in the future.
But the best player won in the end, Hassan was awesome!

I've never played this Miss Nutt, but I have played a girl called India Storrar. When I played her she was literally opening every pot calling alot in position mostly with rags but I have never seen a female play so loose and aggressive. I think this is areally good tactic if you are female because as a male you are gulubble and always believe them "Shes a girl how can she be bluffing" hoping this doesn't sound sexist in anyway but its totally true. If I was a girl or was coaching a female to play poker I would teach them how to play loose aggressive and how to bluff in particular spots because they are going to get alot more respect than someone who dresses and looks like me. There is of course a simple tactic you can use to combat these sort of females and it would be to 3bet them light as they can't defend when opening MP with 75o etc they just have to fold, I would float them alot too but obviously the general male population will be afraid of women more than the women actually think.

This is true.
It also applies in poker.

There is loads of "ask me" threads but 99% of them would not be up your street.
i.e debt collector/strip club dj/heroin addict etc.
However once in a while something really interesting pops up such as; joining the marines/living in certain cities/being a porn director(lol)
I hesitate to link this because of the subject matter but the OP it's so well written.

I'am not a parent and have been lucky to have never had to deal with loss like this, even the most hard hearted of us will at least have a bottom lip quivering moment. It's well worth reading the whole thread as it has taken place over a couple of years.
2+2's non-poker boards really are strange, full of absolute dross well past the knuckle but sprinkled with some great threads full of infomation and often hilarious.
