They knew what they were talking about when they called it Costa.
I gave up. It was either that or start selling my body to fund my habit.

I'm not entirely sure where "addiction" & "dependency" differ, but I don't really care for either.
I seem to be totally addicted to or dependent upon.....
"Motorway"
Coffee. (
Costa
, ).I reak out in a sweat if I don't have one every 2 hours. From my Hotel to the Coffee Garage is 200 yards, & every yard is painful. I need coffee.
I am slowly turning into Tikay ..... I know exactly what Costa Service stations I will stopping off at.
Toddington is still the best, Costa, Tuna Melt and Krispy Kremes and toilet all in the petrol station bit
Sadly, I know which brand of Coffee every Service Station on the M1 serves. (I can name all three brands which are available at Leicester Forest East). I'm not sure if that's addiction or just plain OCD.

The Internet. If I cannot get on it, I fret endlessly. It was only invented in recent times, the last 20 or 30 years, but it almost rules my life now. And whole businesses are based upon it.
Mobile 'Phones. I carry mine everywhere, & get in a tither if I ever go anywhere without it. And yet I lived for nearly 40 years without one.
"Motorway" Coffee. (Costa, Coffee Nation, Red Bean).I reak out in a sweat if I don't have one every 2 hours. From my Hotel to the Coffee Garage is 200 yards, & every yard is painful. I need coffee.
The Times. I HAVE to get The Times every day. I would die if I did not.
Cigarettes. Ugh. Why did I start again? Now I don't want to give up. Come the day, of course, I'll regret it. And yet I can go for ever without a ciggie if it's a non-smoking environment.
Rennies.
If we swap the Telegraoh for the Times and imagine me 35 years older it's like we were separated at birth bro'.

cannot go costa coffee at all - i like the flavour ok - ITS JUST TOO DAMN HOT.
I honestly dont get the fascination with overly hot drinks. In the health and safety obsessed world we live in there are warnings about hot water everywhere - sinks have signs about them saying 'caution hot water' my local gym has a sign above the jacuzzi saying 'warning - this water is hot'. Everywhere we are being warned about the dangers of hot water, and yet here is a company selling a liquid hotter than the fires of hell designed for the sole purpose of putting it in our mouths.
i may have told this story before, but on one occasion driving home from DTD i stopped on the M1 at wetherby services and bought an extra large americano, as i was feeling a bit drowsy. How hot was it ? well, i made it all the way up the m1 across the a66 and was passing penrith before it was actually cool enough to drink.

Well, when I say "conquered"......
I was not at work until after 10am today. That's a start, surely? A late start, in fact. And I took 4 hours off on Sunday.
I read a book on holiday last week called the 4 hour week and it is in the middle of transforming my life.
It basically questions the nonesense of working from 9-5 each day - which i have always thought was bonkers - even as a child. I have finally found someone who agrees with me and has made a success of breaking away. Dont get me wrong - i have always worked hard - often too hard - but for all the wrong reasons.
Im hoping to be living a different life in 12 months time
