Nobody got the mystery photo question.

It was Glenn McCrory, & he was a World Champion over 20 years ago. I think.

Genuinely, a gentle giant. Beautiful manners, mentally very sharp, excellent social skills, & nice brown shoes. Everything a man should be.

"only a captain can were brown shoes"

name the tv quote (there is a persons name missing off the end)

bugger - it was obv suppose to be wear -

Lol, thank you. Sadly, I was just buying time & prevaricating until someone else answered, as I'm not very good at telly questions.

It seems nobody knows, not even Kinboshi, & he knows everything.

We give up.

PS - Is it Dad's Army?

Apparently, nettles are a great addition to a compost heap.

Apparently the leaves are very good to eat as well.

If you can extract the juice or blend them in to a smoothie there's all kinds of good stuff in there.

Err.....I'm not entirely sure who is whooshng who, here. Let's assume it's me being whooshed, it usually is.

I'll just say "thank you" & move on.

Not this time mate. If there's any whooshng being done it's headed in my direction.

Nettles really are good for you.

Google it if you're not sure but you have to decide first whether you think it's a whoosh and then apologise for not believing me.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm quite sure you are right, & I believe you 100%, always did. We were at cross purposes.

It's just that the "nettles" were, how can I say this? - metaphorical. I don't actually have any nettles in my garden, & I don't actually garden, either. (Just realised that "garden" is both a noun & a verb).

So, I feel bad that I've misled you now. Led you down the garden path, as it were.

I'm a little shocked you actually think I garden, too. And that I worry about my nettles.

I'm sure I'm being triple whooshed here.

Gardening is something done by people much younger than you normally.

Went to do the gardening & the nettles had disappeared. I bet they'll soon be back though.

I blame Tighty.

Careful, or else I will call you again

Please God no. I love you dearly Rich, but every time you ring me, or e-Mail me, I cringe, & feel tempted to bounce it. You have the ability to both grow & eradicate nettles, too.

Fact. I've had 29 e-mails today. Only 8 were from Tighty. Maybe he gets paid by the word........

His emails were emplty?

Tony

I don't know what to say about Berry's Heathrow

Sorry you have had such a bad experience with BMW. I'd advise you to phone their MD/Dealer Principle.

Also get a break down of the invoice please

Still not got it back John. They were supposed to ring me this afternoon, but they never did.

I have a breakdown of the first invoice (over £800 including £240 to "investigate inop wipers"), but they've been on it for TWO days SINCE that!

Heaven knows what the bill will end up.

First bad experience I've ever had with BMW.

They really are very bad, Berry's, John.

Anyway, lets get the car back first - next week? - then we might have some sport with them.

Why not get a proper car instead of a BMW?
