Hey Tikay, I didn't see your reply about the train until after I'd been on the trip so the only ones photos of the train I have are in these ones, there's no close-ups I'm afraid.

Greymouth Station - The population of the town is around 10,000

It really is an awesome journey, there's a nice little open-air viewing platform at the back which can fit about 7 or 8 people on and if my camera battery hadn't been dying I'd have probably just stayed there for the whole four hours. If Sky ever send you to Australia for the Aussie Millions, make sure you get a couple of days extra to fly to Christchurch and do the trip.

Hey Tikay, knowing how much you love train trips, I'm doing the TranzAlpine route tomorrow from Christchurch so I'll try and put up some snaps for you in the next few days.

Thanks Chris. I'd prefer pics of the train (especially the locomotive or traction unit) rather than the scenery, if possible.

The viaducts on this trip are just awesome.

I need to guard against too much "crossover" here James, this is an SP thing, & it places me in an awkward spot, so I'll Post how I'm going to deal with that "over there" shortly.

MSN? Postcards ftw.

Hope the Birthday went well!

What you doing this Sunday? I'll be at DTD with Dantb, The Boy Ben (Nuttall), Dohhhhhhh, & Jakally, doing some stuff. You be there?

I don't think so mate, as its short term variance I think it would be a bad way to judge it. Anyone can run hot for 12 hours over 3 days. I don't wanna say too much cos of the crossover Tikays mentioned.
