Oh my, I did it again.
After I wrote that, I thought I'd check the WSOP Updates to assess Simon's progress.
Simon Deadman eliminated in 10th place
I'm King Bok. Would have made a great centrepiece for the Bluff Article too.
Just minutes ago, here in Las Vegas, Simon Deadman, surely amongst the most popular pros in British Poker,
won $2,500 WSOP Event 47, & with it the spangly bracelet he most surely deserved
busted in 10th.

That must literally have been posted minutes before he bust. Incredibok!
May I suggest your blog begins with the line
"My name's Tony and I am a bokaholic..."

Hey mate, now that staking is over just wanted to say I really enjoyed following your progress, reports, photos and having some Blonde banter. Losing less than last year was an unexpected bonus as well! Enjoy the rest of your trip xx

Back to Oceanside, what a lovely spot it was, the palm trees, the soft sandy beach, a lovely Condo, and the warm Pacific, with it's gentle waves, & so we spent a goodly while just messing about in the sea.

This was the moment I had planned, I had made this decision exactly a year ago, & kept it quiet, never mentioned a word to Gill, but I wanted to do it here, that was always the plan, so that's when I said "shall we do it, then?" She looked at me gone out.
And so we did, we got engaged, there & then, right there, in the Pacific Ocean. It's nice when a plan comes together so perfectly.
Anyway, enough of that soppy nonsense, the trip continued, & we had other things to do. Little were we to know that another magic evening awaited.
Fantastic news - I'm so happy for you Tony. I wish you and Gill all the very best for your future together.

Congrats to you and Jill.
No baseball this year? Assuming my schedule is free I am going to pop along on Monday evening for my dose of Americana.

I have to start work tomorrow, & I don't know the schedule yet, but if I can be there, or wangle the evening off, I'll come along for sure.
I'll try & bring Tal Bloke along, too, if he's available.
Can't promise to be there, we have a "Team Meet" booked for Sunday morning to discuss who does what & when, so I'll know better after that.

Take me out to the ballllllllllllllll game
You do know you have to sing & everything, right?
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win, it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game.
Somehow can't quite imagine stuff like that at The Sports Direct Arena.
