I'm guessing that you'll be on the edge of your seat due to the sunburn incurred by the new mankini sans factor 40.
Best of luck and hope you're still ripping by coffee and squeeze time tomorrow.

Thanks Ralph.
Have paid in, and got a nice seat - seat 5, perfect view -on Table 13.
The buy in was $250, not $240 as I indicated earlier. It is $240 for 20,000 chips, but for an extra $10 ("staff bonus") we get an additional 10,000 chips.
Not sure what % of reg fee that works out as, but it's pretty steep. Welcome to Vegas.
Really looking forward to this.
Been to Starby's already, so am all set.
No wifi at Binions, so updates at breaks only, from Golden Nugget, where I am currently.

Tony, hope you are enjoying Vegas.
Do you still live on the river? I took a boat down the Thames on sunday to Hampton Court and enjoyed it thoroughly. The ticket man pointed out Trevor Baylis' home with an old car in the garden. He invented the wind up radio, you know! Maybe you are neighbours? He did not however recall which house belonged to SkyPoker's own Tikay.
Anyway, thought i would drop in and say hi.

First break after 4 levels.
We began 6 handed, I ran well and got up to 42,000 early, then the wheels parted company with the chassis and I plummeted to 17,000, but recovered quickly to my current 37,000.
We return to 300-600.
Around 12 tables as far as I can tell.

Good luck Teeeeks. Hope you have an enjoyable day.
Thank you Mr G, am having a wonderful day, but the cards are not being very kind, or not so far.
Barely played a hand the last 3 levels, nothing even remotely playable, and have done well to still have 30,000 at the 2nd break. We return at 800-1,600, so the game gets much easier now, and I don't have any plans to blind away.
We shall see.

Dinner break, end of level 12.
Moved tables straight after the last break, and my luck completely reversed. Three hands in succession I found nice hands, raised all three, flopped the world each time, and, most unusually, scooped all three to propel me to close to 100,000.
Been a bit quiet since, just maintained my stack, I have 105,000 (a bit above average) which will be about 25 Bigs when we restart.
118 runners in total, 43 remain, and I'm right in the mix.
Long way to go yet, but we have a mini sweat.

BUSTO, very first hand after the break.
Guess I could have got off it, but it was a weird spot.
I get to see a free flop in the blinds with......
We see this flop.......
I lead out with my under house, and my man, who has been super aggro and was playing a whopping 450,000 pots it.
I don't much like betting the shop with the under house, but he has to have EXACTLY 9-3 here, with the case 3.
I dwelt for an age, and could not convince myself he had it, though I felt he almost certainly had the 9, so he has plenty of ways to get there with 2 cards to come. I have some back doors, and eventually decide I can't fold this, and we are allowed to gamble.
He had exactly 9-3, and my emergency low fails to materialise.
And there it is, just like that, I'm history.
Pretty disappointed, as I was in reasonable shape before this hand, and we should not go broke with under houses, but I just kept thinking, "surely he cannot have EXACTLY 9-3?".
With hindsight, even if he only had the 9, which was my eventual assumption, he had plenty of ways to get there, even so, it just felt this was a spot I could not fold.
I will check the odds later if he just had the 9, guess he would be a favourite, but not much in it.
Feels like I wasted a good chance to run deep, but there it is.
No poker tomorrow, out for the day with Gill, as she goes home on Wednesday morning, and in the afternoon, I will be having another crack at the PH Big O.
Night all.

You would have been 61.5% favourite for the high if he just had the 9.
