Coming up to the completion of 8 levels.
Have barely seen a playable hand in the entire 4 hours.
It's all been unconnected, unsuited, unplayable, undesirable poo of the pooest possible pooey stuff.
On the bright side, you are still in,waiting to unleash hell.

"Unleash hell" might be a little beyond my abilities, but with 20 Bigs the gamble dial will be on max, for sure.
First orbit is O8, so doubt it will be in that, but once the Big O round arrives we will be flailing around like that McGregor bloke when he gets in the ring with Mayweather.

Well who'd have thought - found a hand at Limit O8 and scooped an 8,000 pot to get back to starting stack.
Late reg has closed, too, so we avoided a second bullet. That's a win in itself.

There you go, a little bit of positive thinking goes a long way.

Down to fumes now.
Had over 20 outs in successive hands and missed the chuffing lot both times.
Think today has been my worst performance all trip. It happens.
Anyway, kamikaze mode engaged.

BUSTO
Had a set of kings and A-3 on the K-2-4 flop and managed to get scooped.
Just one of those days, I think.
Night all.

Seemed like today's tournament just didn't get going for you. There is always the next one.
Enjoy the sticky bun and choc ice.
As an aside did your post count reach some crazy milestone. I'm sure I saw before this years Vegas staking took off it was on some very nearly round number. It hasn't just passed 1,000,000 posts has it, that would be insane right?

Mint Trav and I made dinner. Both just moved to table "best poker site in the World". Got 80k, but might tilt horribly when I get back.

"best poker site in the world"
is a crashing bore who is playing most of the PLO & PLO8 stuff that we are playing.
He is an Affiliate or owner of some poker site I've never heard of, but he bangs on all day trying to entice people to sign up.

That would be insane, yes.
The "milestone" was 100,000, though I'm not sure I should be particularly proud of that.
How is Leon? Decided what he intends to do with his life yet?
When will that wonderful new warship, HMS Queen Elizabeth, be visiting Southampton Water & Portsmouth Dockyard?
Think we'd come down to have a shufty at her. What a sight it must be.
I'm not at all sure there is any point paying £6 billion for an Aircraft Carrier, or whatever it is, but it's a jolly fine looking piece of kit.

Doobs busts Danny Newman.
11 left.
Danny Newman?
Wow, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
Cannot find a single picture of him on the internet.
Confirmed lowlife.
Nor me, which seems very odd for a guy with over 60 THM cashes.
http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=568
He seems to have disappeared between 2000 & 2012.
I see him out here every year, but have never had any dealings with him, financial or otherwise, away from the poker tables.
He is always warm & friendly towards me, but I guess I don't really know him. We just share poker tables & a few bants.
I'll get a photo of him next time our paths cross, then he'll be on the Internet.
