PLO

There is an open to 2,500, then a 3 bet and we have

  three clubs

I 4 bet and it all goes in.

My man has

I like my chances here but he flops the straight and that's that.

Not complaining, but ran pretty dire tonight.

GG.

Had a feeling this might be the case, didn't wake up to enough pages!

See you on Friday

Today will be the last scheduled event on the 2017 Stake, (1 or 2 more little ones MIGHT be added) & it's a cracker, an $1,100 PLO/PLO8/Big O affair at Venetian.

15,000 starting chips (starting at 50-100), 40 minute levels, Late Reg until the end of Level 6.

Start time is 5.05pm, which is 01.05 AM in the UK.

Of the $1,100 entry cost, $980 goes into the prize pool, $75 is the entry fee & $45 is the "staff fee". I think that makes the total juice 12.5%, not unreasonable by Vegas standards. The place is mint, too, as are the dealer & table quality, and it's a pleasure to sit on plush leather chairs.  Every table has automatic shuffle machines, which speeds things up a treat.

I had an early night in preparation, & I'm ridiculously excited to be playing this beauty.

Please let the God's of Seat Draws be kind today, 4, 5 or 6 will do nicely, but 2 or 7 will be poo. The seat I had last time at Venetian was a real handicap.

I hope I don't need a re-entry, but if an accident arose early enough, I would definitely consider it.

Had a great time reading the updates this year tikay, I think you did pretty well both financially and the results you had, number of day 2's etc.

Have fun with the hoarde (what's the collective noun for a group of poker players, a moan?) of Sky qualifiers now and if you manage to find time for a couple more small tournaments all the better.

Thanks for the updates Tony. I looked for reward to reading them each day.

Was that your last tournament of the trip? I hope not or you at least keep us entertained for the rest of the series on your blog

Enjoy the rest of the series

The fella with his mouth open is the chap that Doobs admired so much.

He allegedly owns the best online poker site in the world - pokermania.

As crashing bores go, he's a ledge.

Ha, bet you can't get one with his trap shut.

He is just a bit relentless.  Never stops selling that site, even when hands are in play.  It is like they don't ever do breaks.  Not sure he owns it, thought he was just selling, though you may be right.

He loves bitcoin too, as do many out there, but at least I don't have to listen to all that now I have left Vegas...

Scotter is his name btw.

Sat with a few times
We actually managed to keep him pretty quiet when I had the drinking table with 2 fun New York guys and he was there hours sandwiched in the middle of us lot Smiley

Unlucky in the last v game, good solid results ( I told you they would come after going top 20% in so many in a row ) for the trip and been great fun reading it all as usual.

At last.

After 3 weeks here, wasting his time getting smashed, eating, & bokking me, Marky147 at last plays some poker.

This is the main event Mega Sat that started at 10am this morning.

Ambo, complete with haircut, is in the same Mega Sat.

I was chatting with him at the table for a bit - well, listening - but the bloke next to him complained & I was asked to leave the arena.
