There seems to be some doubt if "attempted" can be applied to manslaughter. This seems to suggest it can. Possibly.

If "attempted" can be prefixed, then it's fine, we can charge him.

It was SPT Manchester over the weekend.

For reasons which I cant really explain, at every SPT I get several gifts from the players, for which I'm, obviously, most grateful.

I was given this by a kindly couple from Edinburgh, Geo Devonshire & his good lady.

It was rather embarrassing that I had no idea what it was, & had to ask them. "A tea-strainer without holes" was probably not my most diplomatic moment.

Anyone care to guess what it is?

PS - It did not include the £20 note - that's for scale.
