Look at our watch - we all have one.
i don't
I have one somewhere but never wear one. I know less and less people that actually wear watches nowadays as most people carry a mobile phone.
Well I carry a Moby, but without a magnifying glass, it's impossible to tell the time. My old moby had a lovely clock on it, great big numbers.
I want it back.
There might be a way to change the font on your mobile so you can see things a bit better. Have your PA sort it for ya. He's a good fella like that.

That'd be the PA that said "ooh, look, the screen is three times as big". Conveniently overlooking the fact that the font is half the size.

Here's a little test for all of you with watches.
Look at it now to check the time.
Now cover it with your hand.
Describe the face of the watch.
Does it have numbers all the way round? Just at 12, 3, 6, and 9? Roman numerals? Notches at each hour? No markings at all? Does it have a second hand? The date?
It's amazing how many people will look at their watch dozens of times every day and yet will not be able to tell you what it looks like.

if she leads the flop for 900+ im out of there, thats how close it was lol, from my experience very seldom see AK lead out for so little in relation to the pot in this spot.
Sighhhhhhh
Great analysis of the hand, apart from not remembering correctly the apparant most import part of the hand. With 1,650 in the pot at the flop, I distinctly totally, utterly remember betting out 1,100 at this point. Happy to take the pot down there and then if nothing ridic had happened for someone.
Everything else was spot on though....

The way we tell the time is why digital watches were just a passing fad. In general you look at a watch not to tell the time but to measure the time between "now" and the next time that is relevant to you. This is easily done on a an analogue watch but more thought is required on a digital version.
BTW I never wear a watch but can usually tell the time to an accuracy of 5 minutes which is more than enough to get by. I thank you.

Don't get why you don't push the turn Chili. If you're happy to take down a 1,650 pot on the flop you should be delighted to take down a 20k one on the turn. action man's thoughts about why he checked the river are in total contrast to your reasons for calling the turn. He doesn't feel the 6k of value is worth chasing with a set, but you do with a pair. I don't know who's thinking along the better lines here. Maybe you were too greedy and he wasn't greedy enough? ul though.

Absolutely, I don't get why I didn't check raise the turn either. In fact the instant of me checking the turn came with an internal "go one Trigg, I know you'll give it another shot!" So he did, and I just called. Yes, greed is a terrible thing, because I knew with his turn bet that I had him beat. He clearly hated my call. So yeah I guess I got unlucky by his set on the river and yeah I played it wrong. Ahhhhh with hindsight!
