It's all fitting into place rather nicely. Miss Champion has arrived, & it transpires that she is an "anchorman" geekess, & knows the film, & the scene we plan to spoof, very well.

Here's a photo I took when Miss C arrived at the Studio just now.*

I will. Rehearsal went well. The Show will be just fine. Bit worried about the Anchorman spoof, though. I mean, "hiney" is a bit edgey, eh?

I would be more worried about some wag adding a "W" (and I don't mean to "hiney")

Dunno about Geordies but Yanks have been saying it as long as I'm alive.  Elderly people and young ones used the term back in the day, but mostly southerners now.

Think the two should be spelt differently somehow. Hiney, in the Geordie context needs the h and i to be delivered separately, rather than hi. English was never my thing, but the e should play a role in how the i is pronounced - I'd guess that neither of these two 'languages' follow the English rules on this one, but the Geordie version must be closer!

So hiney kind of = honey in Geordieland?  Two very different meanings in that case.
