3 inbound texts in the last 20 minutes telling me that 2 particular players are playing in the EPT Super-Sat at The Vic.
Achilleas Kalakkis & Robert Cooper.
Be nice if one of them wins the ME, & I get to interview the winner for In-Poker.
"So Achilleas, any news on blonde's £7,000?".
When you read all the press speculation about the alleged rapid demise of Achilleas's property empire, then see these guys openly playing Events in London, I end up not knowing what or who to believe. I mean, if the press speculation were true, how could they just turn up at Events like the London EPT?
Anyway, be kinda neat if they win it, with all the attendant publicity. And interviews.
What's first prize? About a trillion?

Lol.
If someone wants to screw me for money, I'll play the waiting game. Everything comes to those who wait.

It does?
It's one of the baffling things in poker to me. People can grim other people, openly, and grim hundreds of other people, and then show their face at event after event with the subject of money owed not even rearing its head.
This is the first time I have heard of Kallakis on the big boys circuit for a good nine months though

It's utterly astonishing Rich, it just is. I had heard they had been playing the high limit Cash Tables at Palm Beach & other London venues recently.

Yikes, to add to the Texts I've been getting all evening, I'm now getting PM's from players telling me that Achilleas is playing at the London EPT Super Sat tonight. I wonder if his ears are burning!
I can't answer them all tonight, but they are appreciated, thank you.
I'm not sure how to move this forward, but I'll give it some thought, & discuss it with Rich & James.
It's all pretty small fry to the Big Hitters, & I doubt that the debt they owe to blonde worries therm too much.
It's nice that people recognize it, though. Still, as JNK used to say, we can't spend nice.
The growth in grimming in the last few years is really quite astounding.
Regular, well-known, & popular, blondes are included in that, too. As are some of the known grimmers who have troubled blonde Members in the last few years - they keep coming back & having another pop, with a seemingly never ending list of new aliases.
These boys get the odd grim & nip through, but they are losers, every one of them.
Be on your guard.

Boric acid is a powder that New Yorkers use (sprinkled on floor behind all kitchen appliances for a start) to kill cockroaches. It's very strong and the only thing that keeps them out.
I'm guessing Tikay doesn't want to have the killer instinct if it means underhanded tactics, but isn't afraid to fight his corner via the correct channels.

I is not Ali G, innit?
"boracic" is CRS for "skint, broke, busto, no money".
Boracic lint = skint.

Lol, sorry about that Dawn.
Honest to God, I thought everyone on earth knew the CRS term "boracic".
Note to self. Remember that Americans read this diary. Use short words.
PS - What about the Letterman story that broke this week? Wow! He's 62, & hes still messing with women. Who'd have thunk.

A lot of people think it's 'brassic' (cos that's how they say it) and so don't make the connection with 'boracic'.

Well yes, you are quite right, but if one speaks properly - like the Queen - one does not make that mistake.

A quite breathtaking display in Tiananmen Square this week to celebrate 60 years of Communist rule.
The Military marched, & boy, then can march.
A British Major, who trains the Guards Division of the British Army for Buck Palace Ceremonial stuff - Major Mott (no, really), said it was the most impresssive thing he'd ever seen.
Apparently, bunches of Soldiers marching in ceremonial straight lines is quite difficult - it's called "Dressing", I gather. Major Mott said 6 or 7 soldiers "wide" was optimal, as it's impossible for the "dresssing" to be perfect above 7.
The Chinese marched with a width of 25!
