How many calories a day are you on?
I am trying to keep it below 1,000 at the moment. Salads (well, hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, chicken breast etc), grapes, pineapple, apple slices (fresh), Ryvita, Oxo Cubes, lots of water, it's amazing how much you can eat & drink in a day & still be below 1,000 calories.
I feel as healthy & fit as I ever have, no energy loss, sleeping well, full of zest. And I've not had one Rennie in the 3 weeks.
I'm beginning to think there may be a link between badly eating crap food, & indigestion. You never know, it could be true.
wow im pretty sure that can't be good for you taking in so few calories! In fact prob a bit dangerous.
Eat a bit more, a bit better and try and encorporate a bit of exercise into your lifestyle imo.
and stop f smoking

You'd have to be pretty dumb not to expect, & agree, that whatever Government is in power will need to address the Budget Defecit. It's not a debate, it has to be done.
Yesterdasy the spin doctors were selectively leaking Mr Darling's proposed budget cuts in public spending, £11 billion was the rumoured number. Nobody, nowhere, mentioned which Depaertments would have to suffer the cuts, or for how much. They could not. becaue they don't know.
The Times ran the story on the front page. The headline?
"Hospitals to face axe as Treasury saves £11bn".
Gordon Brown is a sneaky bastard when he talks about halving the "deficit". He hopes when he says this, most people will mistake deficit for debt. When he's talking about halving the deficit he's not talking about the £780 billion national debt, which is what is really going to cripple us if it isn't reduced some how - he's just talking about halving the annual £178billion deficit by 2014.
But ..but...but....by the treasury's own estimates, half of this current £178m deficit is caused by the current recession, so when he says he'll heroically halve it by 2014, what he's saying is the UK will emerge from the recession by 2014, which is just a given, the night follows day of economic cycles. It's hardly a grandiose promise to the nation. It's not this half of the deficit that's the problem, it's the second half. If he doesn't do anything about that, the debt will increase to a level that will cripple us.

"Not keen on your one mate, you seen her hooter?" from some spotty poker geek who needs one off the wrist every night, amuses in a way, but it's kinda sad too. For the geeky guy, I mean.
How long after the spots clear up before the wrist requirement eases?

30 years usually does it. By which time seeing things is the problem.

Tony,
You couldnt make it up
John Terry has hit back at Craig Bellamy over a television jibe about his conduct.
Although Terry has remained silent about the alleged affair with Wayne Bridge's former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, which cost him the England captaincy and a long-time friendship, he felt Bellamy's attack after Chelsea's 4-2 defeat to Manchester City was a step too far.
Given his own chequered past, Bellamy knew he was leaving himself open to a counter punch when he claimed: "Everybody in football knows what the guy is like. But that is off the field."
And while Terry is clearly not in the mood for an in-depth discussion about their respective personal lives, he felt Bellamy's snide comment could not go unchallenged.
"People in glass houses should not throw stones," said the Chelsea captain.
Given the bad blood that so obviously now exists between Terry and certain members of the City squad, it is probably just as well Roberto Mancini's men did not book a return visit to Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup next week.

Bellamy's comments, whilst funny to watch were not needed and seemed kind of stupid coming from a guy who's been done for hitting a woman amongst several other acts of being a dickhead.

WILLIAM Hill announced sluggish group net revenue growth today in its 2009 year-end results. The company’s egaming division, however, significantly outperformed the group, prompting chief executive Ralph Topping to describe William Hill Online’s (WHO) as an “almost unrecognisable” business from 2008.
Group net revenue grew 4% to hit £997.9m (€1.09bn, $1.48m) from £963.7m, with a 4% dip in the retail division reducing the impact of a blast in revenue at WHO of 63% to £203.5m.
The company’s earnings before interest tax and amortisation (EBITA) fell 7% to £258.5m, from £278m in 2008.
The company blamed “significant volatility in sporting results and tough economic conditions” for the middling results. The sports volatility included a particularly bad run of trading on football bets in the third quarter that also hit arch-rival Ladbrokes, after the first 66 Premier League matches saw just four draws, compared with a five-year season average of 25% of games being drawn.
However Topping added that: "The scale and breadth of our business ensured that we were well-placed to ride out the extra volatility in sporting results and the areas affected by the economy were counteracted by good growth in gaming machines and our improving online performance.
The chief executive continued that the company “transformed” key parts of the business in 2009 including its egaming arm. “William Hill Online is almost unrecognisable from a year ago, with highly competitive gaming products, proven marketing expertise and a sportsbook that has more pre-match and live betting products,” he said.
The performance was clearly signposted, with some analysts having predicted worse. James Hollins at Daniel Stewart described the results as “marginal outperformance” against expectation with “the results already well flagged”.
Analyst Paul Leyland of brokerage Collins Stewart concluded: “William Hill has done much during 2009 to strengthen its operations and balance sheet. However, a difficult macro environment and, in particular, volatile sports results, has largely masked this transformation from a financial perspective.”
The results also compare favourably with those of Ladbrokes, which re-launched its sportsbook in January and recorded 2009 pre-tax profit down more than a quarter.
