As to MereNovice, he was without internet for nearly a month (gotta love AOL) but he's back on now, so I hope he'll be back here soon, he is much missed, certainly by me.

We exchange lengthy e-Mails several times per week (I'm bad at the brevity thing) & because he's old & grumpy, & such a pedant, every time China Mug updates his, err, Diary, I send Mere a link to it. It drives him apoplectic with pedant-rage, as you can imagine.

It's what friends are for, surely?

VEVO now have their own website for music Vids, & an App.

Can I download it to my HTC Desire, & will it eat up the battery mega fast if I play music vids on it??

In fact, I have decided to slow down, & take more time off to just relax, the pace is killing me.

I spent yesterday afternoon at a beautiful spot, by a lake, at a weir behind Luton Hoo, & it was utterly splendid.

There was a resident heron, & I sat & watched him for 3 hours.

Utter bliss & contentment.

I plan to return later this week, one evening, it was just delightful.

The best quality vids on YouTube were always the VEVO ones, & now they have their own site, though the range of vids available seems a bit limited. (Does not include "Pink" by Aerosmith, wtf?).

Probz best not to ask what sort of music I select, though.

I went on a train on friday. it was only little but the driver had a proper train driver's hat, lucked out and got seats right at the front
