I'm not sure if you can view this civil-engineering porn from the US:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-14069546
I wouldn't fancy a trip on that
Not with the way they ussually build things like this in China.
Dunno, that wall they built has lasted a few years.

Sure is. the only reason they call it "Forbidden" is cus your mom would kill you if you went in there. It's full of junkies and gang bangers (No, not the ones that come with mash)

Only mostly the touristy bits that they have maintained to keep the tourists coming. Majority of the "Great Wall" is in total ruins is it not?

do u know Angela Burberry? Added me on fb(random add- brag). All her status's seem to slag off skypoker. Example:
Angela Burberry
Absolutely Fantastic! One of the Skypoker mods has his own website and guess what?? The whole page is made up of nothing but two giant banners telling you to sign up to Full Tilt. Hehe ~ Another classic from the Skypoker comedy team

Yes, I do, or, to be more correct, I know who the person(s) claiming to be "Angela Burberry" are. It's all fairly transparent stuff, & the agenda is self-evident.
Bizarrely, until recently, the photos purporting to be of Miss B were actually of a lady called Sonia Tatar, she of Arsene Wenger fame.
I'd be surprised if any folks are taken in by the whole thing, or take it seriously, bar the regular trolls & disgruntleds. (is that a word?).
You'd be quite surprised how much of this sort of stuff goes off on Facebook, against Sky Poker, & me, & I just ignore it these days, lifes too short. I used to get upset about it, even discussed it on here, & wiser counsel than me (thanks, Jakally & Co) said "ignore, rise above it", & they were right. In this case, I hasten to add, I have escsaped mockery & abuse in this one, or at least, I have so far!
You are not the first person to ask the question, either, not by a long chalk, & in fact we removed a thread raising the question a day or two ago, because I just don't wanna stoke any fires, or get involved in it all.
However, the questions on blonde are, I believe, innocent & well-intended, so now you know the score.
I hope you understand, but I don't plan to take any more questions on the subject, though I suppose peeps can speculate all they want, within the Forum rules. If it gets OTT, of course, the Mods will act as they see fit.
I've changed my whole lifestyle of late, as you may or may not have noticed. I'm incredibly happy, & fulfilled, life is good, but I'm approaching the wrong end of the book, so I made a conscious decision a while back to stay away from forum & Facebook aggro, here & elsewhere, & I plan to try & keep it that way. I've also been trying to mend a few fences lately, it's hard to explain, but you reach a certain age, & just want to be pour water, not petrol, on fires.
Hope you & the family are all well, & you make Vegas next year - this year has been awesome, & I'm seriously thinking about returning in November for a week or 10 days.

Yeah
Well, most of the length of the wall was never bricks and mortar like the section near Badaling. For the majority of its length it's always been more of a earth mound. Did its job though, better than that one built by Hadrian - that failed to keep the Jocks out

I was added too and it took me a whole 48 hours before I twigged (poker reading skills ftw ,it used to take me a bit longer to see through these people) and unfriended pretty quickly...
It was & still is I guess, a massive temptation for me to stay and fight the good fight and defend to the hilt but because of my makeup all it did was tilt me to a ridic amount, much more than poker ever could & thus ruin my Karma. So knowing I'd more than likely be banned whereas the troll/unsavory person wouldn't probably even bat an eyelid about opening up another account and starting again from where they left off, for me personally - thanks to far greater minds on here I realised it's far better not giving myself the opportunity to get involved!.
Luckily for me numbers aren't important to me anymore, but I feel for those who livelihoods are attune to them.

Hi Tony,
Deffo was asking due to curiousity. No malice intended.
Really hope to go Vegas next year with the Mrs. Once you get out there, you get a taste for it. Who knows? If things go well then may get out there in November myself. That Jared bloke has worked wonders with me.
