Where is our hero gone. A fear we may have lost him to the dark side with that Tikay Tips degen stuff. I even hear he has doubled his roll. Maintain the balance please and get back to educating us idiots. In the mean time I'd like to maintain some balance in your thread.

Lol, no, Jason, I'm still here, just had a few days where I have had a lot of stuff going off. Meetings galore, some "issues" next door, & some other stuff.
LOADS of photos to upload, & comments/questions to answer, I'll start catching up later.

I was given the Vegas gig for next door yesterday for the 5th straight year I think, I'm over the moon, I love that trip, & job.
The "work" period lasts from 4th or 5th July until 16th July, I think.
I'll go 14 or 16 days earlier, to play a bit of poker, so 2 Vegas for weeks play & 2 weeks work, can't wait.
I will now adjust my diet plans, I like to be at my "fittest" weight when doing the Vegas work, as it's very long days, back to back. 12 stone it is, then.
I looked up the Venetian Deepstack schedule yesterday, was quite disappointed to see it is almost 100% NLH, I had hoped to play a bunch of Omaha Tourneys this year. Maybe just play Omaha cash instead.
Looked around for other schedules, too. Caesars don't seem to have anything scheduled for WSOP time. (?).
Binions don't have a schedule up, that I can see, nor does the Rio Deepstack schedule seem to be listed anywhere.
Maybe I just missed them.
I still have to decide what date to go, but I think Monday June 19th looks about right. Will get the flights booked on Tuesday, once I've made my final decision on dates. They will pay for my flight, as I'm going there to work, so thats a bonus too, I get to play for 2 weeks in Vegas with no flight cost. Winner!

Off out for the day now, to somewhere quite unusual, & am taking the camera.
Be warned.

Golden Nugget and Binions have some other stuff although looking at Binion's schedule they have removed an O8 tourney I was going to play on the 25th and replaced it with a 6max.
Caesars schedule will probably be out around the end of this month and I'll post it when I see it. I'm staying at the Nugget this summer for the first 9 days while I potter about in the GN/Binions tourneys and then once the Nugget $1k finishes on the 1st I'm heading back to the strip.

Thats really helpful Marky, thank you very much, ditto the overall spreadsheet.
I'll have a good look over the weekend, make my decision as to dates, & then ask Sky to book my flights on Tuesday accordingly.
I quite like the idea of playing several different venues, & trying to play as many non NLH events as possible. Alternatively, I'll just play Omaha & 8 or better cash games.
At the risk of being a real pain, what sort of field sizes do Binions & GN get for those small Omaha affairs?
Quite surprising that Caesars leave it so late to announce their schedule, it seems to me. But I expect there is a good reason, there usually is when something looks so odd.

Went to Whipsnade Zoo yesterday.
Last went there as a kid, & I remembered it as being huge. Now, still quite big, but nothing like as big as I recall.
Arrived at 10.30 am (it opens @ 10am) & there was a masive queue to get in, even though I had pre-booked & paid, I still had to get in the same queue as everyone else, which did not seem quite right. Mixing with the public, in queues, shocking stuff.
Very much enjoyed it though, they have some splendid animals there.

Never seen or heard of these before - they are called "Mara".
A member of the guinea pig family, look halfway between a hare, & a miniature deer. About the size of a large cat, or small dog. They pair up for life. Aaahhhh....

I think you'll be very lucky to find any PLO8 cash-games over there Tony, it's invariably spread as fixed-limit.
Mind you I'd say you have a fair chance of being the youngest at the table at the FLO8 from the games I've seen.

Only seen these in cartoon form, in Guinness adverts before, first time I've seen one in real life. Absolutely wonderful things.

One of the best things about Whipsnade is the fabulous view over the North Downs from the far end of the park. I do hope you took some shots
