I challenge you to name more of these than Tom. I'm posting the same on his diary.
Can you name all these animal collective nouns?

Well if you're looking for a sporting genius who was a loathsome person you don't have to look much further than Ty Cobb. First man into the Baseball Hall of Fame with more votes than even Babe Ruth, despite pretty much being hated by everyone who voted. He used to sharpen his spikes for sliding into basemen and he learnt to bat left handed for a few feet's advantage in running to first base.

Tommy Lee Jones did a good job playing him I thought
Great job, pretty good movie. Although the diary owner is much more likely to have read Stump's book than have seen the film.

Morning Alex.
Tom? Who is Tom, please?
Does he post here, or on another of these
fora
?
Good luck today! You carry the hopes of Ikeston, & The Hamptons, if not the entire UK.

Did you see my post a couple of days ago about the St Pancras hotel?
You simply MUST stay there.
I'm a palestine about these things and even I was impressed by the building.

Without a doubt, my very favourite version of that song. Amazing how they all worked so well together to pull it off too.

Thanks for all the stuff Posted, will catch up on the replies in the morning. Loved the F1 stuff, too.
Gotta go now, working tonight.
All of which is an epically unsubtle way of saying that the Guest tonight is twojacksjoe, stapes himself, seemingly universally popular amongst all poker players, be they be the big boys, or recreationals. Must be a neat trick that. Show starts at 7pm on 865, he joins James Hartigan & I at 8pm, & we simulcast on Sky Sports 4 from 10pm until midnight.
Then it's dinner & bed, & I start all over again @ 6am tomorrow. Life is good, if only there were more hours in every day.
Have a grand evening.
End of unsubtle spammage.

Maybe a little late but just want to add my encouragement to watch the Senna movie. It is more of a documentary using original race and news footage with lots of rare interviews from the period. From what I can see from the thread you are a bit of a F1 geek and have no doubt you would find it really interesting.I am not a regular 'poster' so take that as evidence that you should watch the movie.

Totally agree, I don't enjoy F1 in the slightest, but this is a great human interest film, maybe better than great, exceptional
